Visited Bangkok for the first time and stay 3 nights here. I flew into Suvarnabhumi Airport, took the airport rail, then made 2 connecting trains, exited at the National Stadium stop, walked about 8
minutes and got to the hotel.
The hotel lobby and taxi stand staff and service were excellent and friendly and most spoke English comfortably. They offered Thai Baht exchange for no extra charge too which was super convenient (for example broke down 1000 baht bill down to 10 100 baht bills). They offered me a free room upgrade due to my IHG status and I had a room at the top floor which had a great view. I enjoyed their breakfast very much!! Definitely one of the strong points of the hotel :) Definitely try the guava juice (green). Another perk was in hotel self serve washer and dryer for a reasonable charge which I was able to use while there.
There is a nice Thai massage place right next door - I got a nice 2 hour massage for 500 baht ($15 USD). The MBK, Siam Center, etc malls are an easy ~10-15 minute walk down the street.
The hotel location was great for me and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks!! The only improvement I would offer is that the room didn't provide complementary body lotion like most chain hotels offer. I would have definitely used it. [Less]
