We have three Vienna family hotels for you to choose from on your visit to the Austrian capital.
Often referred to as the "City of Music," Vienna is a beautiful city steeped in history. Its many landmarks include the Rathaus building, Stephansplatz, the Parliament Building and the Donauturm. The latter is a tall tower with observatory decks at the top offering impressive views across the whole city.
There are also more than 70 museums in Vienna. These include the Third Man Museum, the Leopold Museum and the wonderful Haus Der Musik museum which has 6 floors dedicated to celebrating music and sound. Kids will absolutely love it.
Shoppers heading to the city's Old City area will be spoiled for choice with numerous alternative shops and independent retailers. The Old City also houses the Golden Quarter, a luxurious shopping area that hosts the flagship store of Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani amongst others. Vienna also boasts 26 permanent markets, so you really can shop till you drop here.
There are a number of football teams in Vienna, perhaps the best known being Rapid Vienna. They play their home games at the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium.
As a major European capital, Vienna is accessible from the UK through direct flights from cities including London, Manchester and Birmingham. The city is well connected to other cities in Austria by rail (e.g. Salzburg) and also to cities in nearby Germany.
If you're planning a break in this stunning city, check in to one of our Vienna family hotels and we'll make you right at home.
