Featured Vienna Hotels

We have three Vienna family hotels for you to choose from on your visit to the Austrian capital.

Often referred to as the "City of Music," Vienna is a beautiful city steeped in history. Its many landmarks include the Rathaus building, Stephansplatz, the Parliament Building and the Donauturm. The latter is a tall tower with observatory decks at the top offering impressive views across the whole city.

There are also more than 70 museums in Vienna. These include the Third Man Museum, the Leopold Museum and the wonderful Haus Der Musik museum which has 6 floors dedicated to celebrating music and sound. Kids will absolutely love it.

Shoppers heading to the city's Old City area will be spoiled for choice with numerous alternative shops and independent retailers. The Old City also houses the Golden Quarter, a luxurious shopping area that hosts the flagship store of Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani amongst others. Vienna also boasts 26 permanent markets, so you really can shop till you drop here.

There are a number of football teams in Vienna, perhaps the best known being Rapid Vienna. They play their home games at the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium.

As a major European capital, Vienna is accessible from the UK through direct flights from cities including London, Manchester and Birmingham. The city is well connected to other cities in Austria by rail (e.g. Salzburg) and also to cities in nearby Germany.

If you're planning a break in this stunning city, check in to one of our Vienna family hotels and we'll make you right at home.

A great hotel to stay in
By KRead
Staff at the InterContinental hotel, Vienna are extremely friendly and always willing to help. The hotel lobby and bar area are very grand, don't forget to try some cocktails... The breakfast is [More] excellent with a wide variety to choose from. The bathrooms are on the small side but overall the bedrooms are adequate with everything you need from a room. My family and I had a great weekend in Vienna staying at the hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Lastly, don't forget to try the Anna cake from the hotels coffee shop. [Less]
Short stay before joining a River cruise

A good quality hotel in a good location - the breakfast was terrific, good value. We got twin beds when we ordered a queen - not good. [Less]
Fantastic Stay
By BenFLondon
I would say that the service was exceptional, except that this hotel makes exceptional service the norm. If you're staying in Vienna you'd be doing yourself a disservice to stay elsewhere. [Less]
A different Experience
By Happycamper/MT
This was the first time that I stayed at a holiday inn in my business trips. At first I was disappointed but after the first day but on my second day I was satisfied with the hotel staff and services. [More] My only disappointment has been the size of the room. I was bluntly told this what I paid for and if wanted an upgrade I had to pay extra,Since I only slept in the hotel and got late at night back I had no issues since it was a place for sleep, comfortable , clean and adequate. The price was expensive since there was a convention at the time which was quite steep. On my last day the price was less than a half. Although it will not be my first choice I would return to this hotel. [Less]
Small but nice and clean
By Letsjustgo
Nice hotel. Nice location. Surrounded by restaurants and a short walk to the city center. Nice staff. The room was clean and comfy. I was told I would incur $15/night additional for a guest. I [More] do not like additional charges for additional guests. It's a hotel, I don't see how it matters if one or two people stay in the room. Also, it would be a nice "touch" if Spire Elite members received free breakfasts. [Less]
Great staff and good value
By Darran41
The reception staff were outstanding and could not be more helpful. The room was clean and tidy but I have not slept in a single bed in the last decade ! Ate at the restaurant where the food was good [More] and the service fast and friendly. Great staff make for a good stay ! [Less]
