Awful management

After checking in after an extremely long day at work, I had to return to reception 3 times to change rooms. The first room was no bigger than a closet, the second room had a single bed despite the manager saying it was a double. The third room was slightly better but was very tired and shabby. I expected much more from this hotel, especially as a platinum elite member, but the duty manager seemed to expect me to be happy with a basic room as I had booked with points rather than cash. This really defeats the object of having a rewards scheme. Housekeeping were also excessively loud in the mornings, and despite hanging a 'do not disturb' sign on the door, they knocked and entered the room twice. Overall an extremely disappointing stay.
