Stayed there over holidays, the room was clean and the price was great, had fridge, microwave and direct tv with lots of channels. The hotel was very clean , also free washer and dryers, and the beds were comfortable. Only point off I would take is for a pair of shoes found under the bed and some chips left there also. But overall you wont find a better price or a nicer hotel.

Very nice, quiet place to stay. Love the guest laundry, so convenient. So nice to have the store to grab a snack or drink when needed.

Excellent accommodations; great price considering no meals.
Higher water pressure for shower would be nice.

I booked this hotel online believing it was a fair price for what we needed. We had not previously stayed at Candlewood but have stayed at other IHG properties. Upon checking in (approx. 4:30 p.m.) the front desk clerk was pleasant but not informative, she conducted her business with no comment or explanation, we had to ask several questions. The clerk then made a photo copy of my Govt. issued identification. When asked why, we were told they (Hotel) required a copy. I have never had anyone require a copy of any form of I.D. This made me very uneasy. We unloaded our vehicle and went to the room. Upon entering the room, it was obvious the room was not what we had booked, the room was a queen suite, we had reserved a king suite.
We went back to the front desk, I advised the clerk to check her records as we had reserved a king suite and the room she gave us was not a king. The records were checked to find we had reserved a king not a queen. The clerk stated she did not have a king suite to give us, she asked if we had booked online, we stated we had. The clerk then blamed the reservation agent for not checking the room inventory. When asked what would be done, the clerk again stated she did not have a king suite to give us. As we were short of time and had to drive 25 miles to an event we had scheduled, we accepted the room. The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable (just not what we reserved). We checked out the next morning, the clerks at the desk were at least more friendly. The clerks checked us out, we asked to have the copy of my I.D. returned, we were told this would not be done.
I can not say the hotel itself was not adequate for our needs, I can say the customer service was poor. I will not refuse to recommend this hotel, I just won't be excited to do it. But I will make contact with IHG regarding the stay.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gumbo148 We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone with disablities!
Our reservation was for one night, but we didn't even make it through the evening because our handicapped room was given to another traveler, even though we had called to confirm that it would be ready for us. We are platinum members, but one would never know it at this hotel, since the front clerk named Tyler never acknowledged it in any way. Instead of the room we had requested, we were given a room with a bed that was placed with one side up against a wall. We wondered how we were going to maneuver getting in and out of a bed like this, as we are both disabled. My husband had resigned himself to having to sleep in the chair, but we finally gave up from the discomfort of the small room and left at 10 pm on the same night of our check-in. We attempted to check out, but Tyler was no where to be seen and the front desk was abandoned, as we had seen it several times earlier, as we passed by. One time I saw Tyler slouched down on the lobby couch watching tv. Seems that his job is pretty boring to him. I called the hotel later at 3 am after we arrived back home to report the incident, A young woman answered (Tyler's shift must have been over by then) - and she said that she would relay the events to the manager. I gave him 24 hours to see if he would call or email but so far, nothing. So I have reported this hotel to customer service. If you are disabled or have special needs...choose this hotel at your own risk!
