Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True home away from home This is an excellent place to stay. It's super clean. It's like staying in a 5 star hotel. Towels are clean, all the kitchen countertops are marble. Each kitchen has microwave, refrifrigerator, dish washer, tons of utensils, cooking stove, hotpots, cooking pans, cooking oil, dishwashing liquid, popcorn, coffee, lots of clean new ceramic plates, bowls in cupboard, etc...The list goes on. There's a workout center with many equipments, free wi-fi, a huge clean swimming pool, laundry place (free of charge if guest...just purchase your own laundry detergents#, free dvd movies to rent...The direcor of sales is very accommodating to our needs. She will book us a room in a minute #of course we're regulars at Candlewood). We will not go anywhere else, for our extended stay. As regular customers, we accumulate points for our loyalty, everytime we stay at such a comfortable place. Everyone has so much to offer here at Candlewood. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. It's truly a comfortable place to be in at a decent price. It's actually a home away from home. October 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice with a couple problems Problems first: Wireless internet is weak and unusable. Hard to find. Two map programs were lost. It is behind the hospital sort of to the southwest. Everything else is good. Location is close to the freeway. Normal Candlewood Suites with all the regular benefits of great rate, easy to use, no hassle with maid service, great for business. October 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place! Have stayed several times We stay here every time we are in Kingwood. It's a mile from everything you could possibly need. It is set off the freeway so it's quite when you sleep. The rooms get very cold, the beds are super comfortable and the staff has been amazing! I left my favorite pillow and they held onto if for me for two weeks till my next stay. I feel safe when I am here. It's like a second home! August 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service I was very disappointed in the fact that we got in late (12:00 AM) and they charged us a $75.00 fee for our 2 1/2 lbs.dog that we would be taking to my granddaughter's house in a few hours after they woke up. There were other small things that happened and we would never stay there again. August 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds Our stay was very positive. The staff provided a quiet and helpful atmosphere. A continental breadfast would be nice but the Cupboard provided for our needs. We will stay again. August 12, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Made us change rooms Part way through our three night stay a couple of electric outlets in our room stopped working, including the outlet for the TV. After the local staff attempted repairs they told us we 'had' to change rooms. It was not given as an option, it was a requirement. The room we were originally in had two double beds, the room they moved us to had one double bed. We asked to move back to the original room however the staff would not allow us to. We then asked for a rollaway bed, and after several hours and multiple discussions we did get a roll away bed. We booked a room with two double beds, we would have preferred being in a room with no TV rather than being in a room with one double bed and one roll away, however the staff could not accommodate us in a room with the amenities we reserved. Consider me very disappointed. August 3, 2013
