Requested room on high floor, away from elevator and noise on reservation, first two were met, but was placed right next to the buildings AC which was loud and rattled room. Called about room and front lobby stated that they ranked request based on the order, but could not meet all three and she apologized, but I should be satisfied that two of three were met and offered to refund my money and I could go search for another hotel at 11 pm at night. I could not believe this response especially to a Platinum IHG member. Now I know to request away from noise first as this is the most important to me.

This is a great place to stay especially with small children as it has a kitchen and is very clean. Location is close to a Denny's and the Kingwood Country Club/ Shops/ Restaurants etc. I give it an A rating overall.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TGE44 Mattresses need to be replaced.
My stays at this Candlewood Suites over the past year have been positive. I have stayed probably 16 nights or more. After this stay, I realized that I had a backache due to the bed not being supportive enough. I had realized this early on, but the hotel was clean, courteous staff and I didn't want to try another one. I do hope that the Candlewood properties will consider buying better supportive mattresses, and these do nothing if you need your spine to be in a somewhat straight postition to avoid further problems.

My wife and I stayed at this location for two different running events in the area. The staff was excellent. I honestly felt like they cared about our comfort and did the best that they could to honor requests. I highly recommend this place. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff were truly helpful.
