The staff was very friendly. The hotel restaurant food was below average. It was lacking in creativity and just not very good. The elevators in this hotel were EXTREMELY SLOW. I was there for a 5 day stretch. My schedule had me coming and going several times during the day. The cleaning staff, although hard working and very nice, were constantly using the elevators. There should be a service elevator for them to use. I rode the elevator with cleaning staff carrying bags of trash, pushing carts of towels & linens, pushing vacuum cleaners to other floors. They were stopping on every floor on the way down & up. This was quite an inconvenience for me, other guests, and for the cleaning staff also. Definitely a reason for me to not recommend this hotel and avoid staying here again.

I stayed at the CP in April of 2013, attending a corporate conference, the meeting rooms were nice, but very chilly.
The restaurant staff was not attentive at all, had to get up from my table and go looking for them to get coffee and water refills, the breakfast buffet was horrible, the food was cold and not at all fit to serve to guests. The evening meals that were served in banquet rooms were delicious, hard to believe that the same kitchen did the preparation for the buffet and banquet rooms.

The bathroom had a dirty washcloth on the floor when i arrived. I mentioned this to the front desk. They took no action, just thanked me for letting them know.
The shower had black hair still stuck to the wall.
The area where the fridge should have been was empty.
I would not stay here again.

Really did not expect, or appreciate, the cleaning service knocking on my door at 9:00am. Especially since I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door! Otherwise, comfortable, a little worn & tattered, but clean.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The guest rooms smelled very musty or like mildew on my recent visit. I would have requested a room change but the hotel was booked for the night so this was not an option. I can tell the hotel has undergone some recent updates however it seems some corenr may have been cut along the way. The smell will need to be addressed before i consider this hotel again.

This room must of had single pane windows. Road noise was constant all night long. The heater never did heat the room. It was basic shelter. The breakfast was worse than a $1.00 buffet. no quality at this hotel.

We were given a room that smelled of smoke. The front desk was called and we were promptly given a new room. My only complaint about the room is the carpet was worn and coming up where it met the bathroom tile. We attempted to use the hottub but there was something wrong with it. The mechanical room had a high pitched sound coming from it and jets in the hottub shot the water about a foot straight up in the air. Again we contacted the front desk and a maintenance man was to stop by the pool and hot tub. Well the maintenance man didn't enter the pool area. He only looked at us through the glass doors and walked away. At that point we gave up and were happy to catch a flight out of Denver. This hotel does not live up to the Crowne Plaza standards. We will not being staying here again.
