Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff and good location The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the town center. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. My only criticism is that during me stay the internet service was down which meant I had to go to a local Starbucks every morning to send e-mails. July 22, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Find Somewhere Else to Stay As long as you aren't picky, don't mind showering in sewer water or no water at all, arguing with staff to try to correct your terrible room and don't mind being ignored by management or the hotel when you try to address your concerns, then this is the place for you. I expected more from a Crowne Plaza hotel, and was very disappointed. Edinburgh is a great city - stay closer to downtown and pass on this poorly run hotel. July 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bang for the buck The room is spacious with ample amenities. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The environment is quiet, clean and comfortable. The free wireless internet access is great in the lobby area but spotty within the room. The hotel location is a bit far from the city center but very close to Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat which provides great hikes and beautiful scenery. July 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Visit The hotel is formed from adjacent interconnected Edwardian terraced buildings in central Edinburgh over looking a public park. The hotel has extensive gardens at the rear and a selection of in-house guest areas, bars etc. All of the staff with whom we dealt were polite and very helpful. July 14, 2014
