We stay on the Club membership floor, that offers breakfast and happy hour, and it is worth it. Last stay, we had the best breakfast burrito's with some great salsa! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel in a great location I been coming to this hotel for a few months now and I really enjoy the service, location and the treatment at the Rewards Club Room. Tony did a great job providing great service during breakfast and after work hours during happy hour. The rooms are always clean and well maintained and the employees are always helpful. The noise can be a problem if your room is facing the airport and if you are a light sleeper, try to request a room away from the airport if you can. October 28, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, but very loud since next to airport the hotel itself is great! especially the executive floor. clean, renovated, excellent staff. food and ambiance in the lobby are very good. sushi cart was excellent! the only problem was that i couldn't get much sleep because of the planes taking off. i was facing the south side, and i could hear all the planes, even with ear plugs. i'm a very light sleeper though, so if you aren't, you should be fine. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay at Crowne Plaza I want to say that I had an excellent experience at this hotel. All of the staff were friendly and were concerned that I had a good experience. This applied to shuttle bus driver at airport, front desk reception and wait staff for both an evening meal and breakfast. Front desk asked me if I was a member of their rewards program and gave me several perks on the spot. Menu in restaurant was not anything special but what I did order was well prepared and with a generous serving portion. As to the room, it was in good condition and very clean. If I were staying at the LA airport again, I would stay here without hesitation. October 24, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good Hotel Very clean and comfortable hotel, close to airport and courtesy bus available free which runs every 20 mins or so. Food in hotel very good and very friendly service. Only drawback is if you want to go shopping it is along way from shops and you have to catch a bus but directions given were easy to follow. Doesn't have free WiFi but if you join Crowne Plaza free off charge they refund the WiFi fee. October 23, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This is a Crowne Plaza? Concierge staff seemed rushed and hurried all the time. Food quality is low. Sandwiches are dry and stale. Kitchen staff inattentive. Prices for food are higher than in Washington D.C. I could have had a better stay for the same price at a Holiday Inn Express and probably would have received better service. The rooms are large and comfortable and for their location near the airport are quiet. This is the only positive I can give the property. I cannot recommend this property based on this stay. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a very good night's sleep The room was very loud with essentially no sound deadening from the neighboring rooms, the hallway or the outside of the hotel. Based on that, you can expect to hear every sound made in the next room (examples included normal conversation and the sound of a dropped comb), conversations in the hallway, the sounds of traffic on the roads outside the hotel and aircraft coming and going from LAX. The airport shuttle is supposedly every 20 minutes, but in reality it's closer to every 45 minutes, so you should plan accordingly. Other than that, the room had a comfortable bed and a new TV. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall a great stay, but one small problem Overall a good stay however, on the morning of my departure,I found that the toilet would not flush. I opened the tank and found that the water was not refilling the toilet tank. I had to fill my ice bucket with water and then fill the tank to get enough water for the toilet to flush (I didnt want to leave the maid a present). I found this the morning of my departure and I reported it, however it was probably too late for them to fix it. I just wanted to let somebody know so the next person wouldnt have this issue. Other than that, the place was pretty darn good. Nice decor and fairly quiet. Nice bar in the lobby and a pretty good breakfast. October 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay for Tired Travelers We arrived at the Crowne Plaza at nearly 1 am (our flight over an hour late). The staff was so gracious and helpful, prompt and courteous. They provided a gorgeous upgrade suite and we got a great nights sleep before continuing on our flight home the next day. Bed was sooo comfy and they even had sleep creams and fragrances to aid in a restful night.This is an exceptional hotel with first-class service and accommodations. A special thanks to the night clerk and manager for helping weary travelers to feel at home. October 15, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Sleep Thought it was a good idea since I had to fly out of LAX to stay here the night before. Their Park and Fly was a good deal and felt safer leaving my car parked there. However, too close to the airport and did not get any sleep as all I heard was planes taking off all night long. Got up early for my flight in the morning exhausted! October 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and good location near airport We flew in to LAX late on a Friday night and were welcomed at the Crowne Plaza. The staff was friendly, check-in was quick and painless and the room was clean and inviting. The bed was also nice and comfy! Nothing over the top but it was a great value and served its purpose. The only caution I have is that the hotel shuttle took over 30 minutes and it would have been faster to just walk from the airport as it turns out. October 13, 2013

Found the whole hotel to be clean, interior decor well kept and in pristine condition. The staff were helpful, friendly and very obliging. Will definitely book again. The only drawback was that it being so close to the airport the planes going over kept my husband awake. Could possibly use some double glazing on the windows. October 11, 2013

But, since it's too close to airport, the noise of airplane take off and landing are unavoidable. It could be a serious issue for trouble-sleepers. The room is clean and fairly big. With IHG members complimentary WIFI, it's satisfied. Another unpleasent experience is: this is the only hotel that I have been charged a breakfast normal rate for my kid under 5 year old. Never experience this in other IHG hotels before.... Also I forget a T-shirt in my closet, but when i contact hotel staff, they said they would charge rediculous money for ship back to me....... The room was just as I had requested. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the presence of a Starbucks an added bonus. Let's start with the good-free shuttle to the airport, nice efficient cleaning (which is much better than my previous trip to CA-not this hotel), and Miguel (hi Miguel!) as a server in the restaurant are the best things about this restaurant. Now for the bad-a constant whirring sound in my room that kept me awake every night. You have to wonder about a hotel that includes ear plugs as your welcome package. In fact, the planes were quieter than the whirring sound. Still don't know what that was. Next, no free wifi. They talk about wifi being available, but don't tell you that it's not free. Also, no free coffee. It cost me $3 for a cup of coffee that I had to buy in my rush to get to work. I was told that the hotel doesn't do that anymore. Here is another one-in doing my expense report, I find they charged me $2 for a local phone call to Budget rental-which by the way is the next block over-to find out if I could return my rental early. Ridiculous! Lastly, no ice in the ice machine-I had to drink warm beer-which alone should disqualify any hotel from hotel of the year. Just saying...... October 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bar Service The hotel was an excellent value, but the bar prices for drinks were outrageous, more expensive than the Ritz Carlton or the St. Regis. The food in the bar was very good, but they charged $22 per drink for a double Stolichnaya, more than a half gallon costs at the store. That is simply unacceptable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were wonderful The rooms were amazing. Very comfortable and I enjoyed the "spa" goodies that were left near my bedside. Overall a great stay with very nice convention rooms. The food was excellent and there really wasn't a need to leave the hotel. I was given some very good dinner advice to the world famous Joe Petrelli Steak House. It was WONDERFUL. The check in process and front staff have opportunities for improvement. October 6, 2013
