Loved the new downstairs area and the brewed beers

Generally a lovely stay, and good quality rooms and staff.
The breakfasts are excellent. The main dining has some issues where they cannot take walk-ins even when the restaurant is half empty (they were turning people away, and the couple after us were quite cross as well). There was an inordinate number of cooks as a ratio to customers, and the steaks (the speciality) were not that great.
I didn't think the rewards club members were treated any differently or got any little privileges which would have been something to help develop loyalty with this group of customers.

In all honesty I have stayed at the Hunter several times but this had to be the worst. Kitchens no oven, not enough lounges to relax for 6 people, remote control did not work in the master bedroom for the TV, cob webs everywhere with a big black spider in the stairwell and very poor with kitchen amenities. Overall I was very taken back by my stay :(.

First time in Hunter

We came to the Hunter for a friends wedding over the weekend.
It was such an amazing hotel - the grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff are so friendly and genuine.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing - way to much food to choose from and the staff were so efficient and friendly
I would definitely go back. Thank you for making our first visit so lovely
