Twin Sheets on a King Size Bed???

As a world-traveler, this is my first experience in 44 years of pulling back the covers to find a bottom twin sheet on top of the king-size mattress/mattress cover! I was too tired to call guest services and wait for them to correct this condition -- since it was the same the 2nd night, I knew that A) my sheets were not changed out, or B) a fresh twin sheet was applied to my king bed again -- so what gives? Maybe guest services training is needed on what size sheet to use when making up a Kind-size bed, or maybe this Crowne Plaza is out of King-size sheets? This was one of the issues I experienced staying at this hotel--

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks for business. The location is great as there were many malls and amenities around the hotel.

But the decor and condition of the hotel were below expectation for a 4 star property.

Clean and Welcoming

The staff, the ambiance, and cleanliness of the Crowne were welcoming and comfortable. The amenities were plentiful for the price we paid. TV reception was poor and the small European style pillows were uncomfortable. They were new and poufy, but small. The whole hotel did NOT smell of chlorine despite having an open pool area near the lobby. We would return here if visiting this area again.
