Featured Helsinki Hotels

Book a room in one of our Holiday Inn® hotels in Helsinki and discover Finland's stylish, pedestrian-friendly capital. Sip a glass of Karjala lager in bustling Market Square and watch the ferry boats skimming across the glistening Gulf of Finland.

Our hotels in Helsinki put you in the heart of one of Europe's most walkable cities. Discover the intricate drawings of Akseli Gallen-Kallela and other Finnish masters at the Ateneum Art Museum, or marvel at colorful multi-media works in the sleek, ultramodern halls of the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, both part of the Finnish National Gallery. Helsinki's gleaming-white Lutheran Cathedral towers above the water, a view easily enjoyed via a ferry trip to Suomenlinna Fortress. Set on an island chain within the Gulf of Finland, this defensive sea fortress draws visitors with its 18th-century stone ramparts, tidy gardens, waterside cafés and shops selling ceramics and glassware.

From sleek ceramic tableware to funky glass lamps and reindeer hide shoes and jackets, the Esplanadi neighborhood, near our hotels in Helsinki, sells the finest Finnish designs. Stroll the promenade all the way to Market Square, where galleries and boutiques make way for Helsinki's most pleasant waterfront dining. Fresh-caught salmon, grilled rainbow trout and smoked reindeer fill menus at bistros and cafes on the glistening Gulf of Finland, just a short walk or tram ride from our Helsinki hotels. Complete the evening with a Karjala beer, brewed in the city, or a glass of hard cider at the bohemian pubs of the Kallio district.

Book a room in our Holiday Inn hotels in Helsinki in summer, when Seurasaari Open-Air Museum welcomes visitors to a collection of a hundred restored 17th-century Finnish churches, buildings and gardens. Visit in wintertime, when Helsinki's Linnanmäki Amusement Park offers reindeer rides, make-your-own cotton candy workshops and Christmas crafts.

Generally great experience
By SashaA
Booked Standard room, got upgraded to a Junior Suite. Most of the Jr Suites (I have stayed in few) are facing inner yard, not the Tölö bay. I am not sure if there is any Jr Suite with Tölö view. This [More] is something to think about if you prefer to take a Club room or standard/deluxe facing bay. The Club Lounge is actually pretty OK to sit down but the food&drink offerings are very meager, nothing to go for. Club breakfast is fairly OK if you accept that there is only 1 variety of each item. I would definitely return any day. Moreover, this property is most of the time very cheap for the value. [Less]

great hotel. Situated in a great part of town near downtown. Train access directly in front of the hotel. Food was very good, service was excellent. Customer service was also excellent. [Less]
Good value hotel close to the Exhibition center

Good location, safe Holiday Inn level for service and rooms. [Less]
Good for trade show / fair / exhibition, otherwise so-so
By HappilyStayed2
This is location wise excellent property for exhibition at the Fair Center. Otherwise dull area with nothing to see or attract. The hotel is also in its ages and provides nothing special but a decent [More] sleep. I was not expecting anything special, just a good sleep which it provided. Be careful about the bathroom drain though - there is a risk of water damage since the drain is badly designed with misdesigned floor inclination, making water go wrong way and spoiling the room if the drain happens to be blocked for any reason. It happened to me and customers should not be expected to worry about such matters which I did. [Less]
Good hotel for business stay
By Ilx1
If you are staying for a business in around Pasila, it is very convenient place for that. If you need to go to the center of Helsinki, then it is just one train station away (together with walking to [More] the station 15 minutes to the center) [Less]
