Featured Tyler Hotels

Relax in our Holiday Inn® hotels in Tyler. Immerse yourself in 14 acres of fragrant roses at the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden, or taste your way from chardonnay to merlot on the Piney Woods Wine Trail.

Guests of our hotels in Tyler can breathe in the calming fragrance of deep red, sugary pink and vibrant yellow blooms in the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden. Gardening scientists test experimental rose varieties here before introducing them to the larger gardening community. The Tyler Rose Museum details the city's long history as a rose-growing capital and proudly displays finely embroidered and bejeweled fairy-tale gowns worn by Rose Queens during the Texas Rose Festival. Our Tyler hotels are near grand 19th-century homes filled with American-crafted furniture. Monumental Greek Revival columns front the 1850 Goodman-Le Grand House, while the 1878 McClendon House has steep gables and lacey Victorian trim.

Several wineries dot the rolling hills and gentle valleys about an hour's drive from our hotels in Tyler. Vineyards along the Piney Woods Wine Trail produce and offer tastings of aromatic Sangiovese, crisp chardonnay and even fruit and berry wines. Fine-dining rooms at Kiepersol Estates and Los Pinos Ranch serve elegant dinners paired with estate wines. The more modest Texas Vineyards and Maydelle Country Wines offer rustic picnic tables and inviting verandas where you can sip wine in the east Texas sunshine. Dine closer to our Tyler hotels in local restaurants and steakhouses, where fried catfish and barbecue pork ribs are menu staples.

Book our Holiday Inn hotels in Tyler during prime rose blossom season. The Tyler Municipal Rose Garden blooms in spring and October. The genteel Texas Rose Festival in October, with parades and an English tea party, is presided over by the Rose Queen and her court.

comfortable stay
By adventurestory
Clean, comfortable mattress and pillow made my sleep good all through the night. No noise came from outside. Good night sleep is the most important thing when I stay at a hotel. I liked my stay here. [Less]

Typical Holiday Inn Express You'd expect
By tsnow5390
One night Stay, This Place is currently under construction. My wife and I needed a place during our Canton Texas weekend and Holiday Inn Express is our Choice this facility is under construction. We [More] had to switch rooms due to a faulty AC, Will at the Front Desk was right on it and made our stay perfect when we ask about area restaurants he told us what was in the area close that means a lot. The morning Breakfast was Om-goodness huge spot on the lady even though I didn't get her name was working her tail off serving a full house a did a great job doing it. We will definitely stay again and recommend this spot to others headed in this direction Thanks and looking forward to the improvements. [Less]
Very Clean Hotel
My husbands father was admitted into the East Texas Hospice Care. We had been driving to Tyler from Dallas and would drive back the same day. My husband and I want to be able to spend more time with [More] his father. We were spending more time driving than we are able to spend with him. By the time we would get there stay a couple hours then it was time to drive home. I found the Holiday Inn Express on line and called the staff was amazing very kind and understanding to our needs. We will only stay at the Holiday Inn until our father goes to heaven. Thank you for being so KIND. The Hotel Suites were very clean and the room felt like a home. In the future I hope to visit Tyler just to see the town. [Less]

Just one thing
By CurtisTX
I'm a business traveler at the Spire level with IHG, so lots of hotel nights per year. I typically spend 3-5 hours per day on my computer so the desk/chair combo is important to me. The most glaring [More] omission at this property was the desk surface. My optical mouse would not work with the desk surface at this property. I am at a different Holiday Inn for the remainder of the week and the desk surface here works perfectly. It would seem to me that a hotel chain should know that type of thing and never make that mistake. The other common mistake of hotel properties is buying lamps with useless plugs because they are so loose they don't grip the plug you are inserting. [Less]
