Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight stay Our destination was North Carolina and our stop for the evening was Barboursville. We had no idea what the town was like, but we saw that they had a Holiday Inn. We pulled in and the staff was able to accommodate us with a room for the night. The staff and the hotel were very accommodating. Hotel was clean area was nice. The only disappointment was the breakfast wasn't complimentary as other Holiday Inn's. but was satisfactory anyway. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay in WV The Holiday Inn Barboursville is a great place to stay. They have a steady and loyal business clientele and many folks passing through. The hotel is spacious, have many amenities such as a restaurant and bar, and is convenient to restaurants and shopping area. Everything exceeds Holiday Inn standards. The staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.. June 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Centrally located and restful Stay would have been rated higher if staffing of the front desk, breakfast area, and bar lounge area would have been increased during high demand of people present for a wedding party. We had to wait a long time at front desk about a room key problem and finally gave up without receiving help because the only person manning the front desk was busy discussing (for a long time) room charges with another customer from the wedding party. Tried to have breakfast one morning but every table was occupied with people or dirty dishes at the empty tables. The only staff member was overwhelmed and didn't have time to clean the used tables for more customers. We went into the dining area one evening and ordered sandwiches. Again, only one staff member, and her responsibilities were waiting tables, tending bar, and providing room service. Way too much! And the cook was trying to accommodate the wedding party and the lounge area. After about 40 minutes, our sandwiches came. We should have been told when we ordered that it would take a long time. Please do not criticize your staff. It is management's fault for not recognizing that increased guests (if only temporary) requires increased staff (if only temporary) June 3, 2016

We stay in Holiday Inn hotel and Suites in Barboursville WV on our return trip every time we travel to Indiana to take care of our elderly parents. We know we will always be greeted with a friendly face, clean room. good food in the dining area and a good nights rest. June 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful experience We stayed two nights and were exceptionally happy with Holiday Inn from before checkin through our stay, starting with the very sweet, thoughtful, and helpful customer service of Jada on the front desk. She could not have done a better job. Then, once we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised at the very clean room, hallways, pool, dining area, etc. Even the housekeeping staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful, as did the others on the desk, and the wait staff and others in the restaurant. We loved the pool area. Overall, we three give you an A-PLUS and a big thank you! June 1, 2016
