Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very hospitable and comfortable; my room 5 star luxury Excellent welcome and accommodation. No Prosecco at the bar ! Breakfast £13 .50 on day or £ 8.50 if booked night before ! sadly, this is extortionate but as luck would have it , there are a number of very nice coffee places within 5 mins walk where breakfast can be procured eg berries, granola, yoghourt or cooked for under £5 in an ambient setting with free paper to peruse. Breakfast should be trimmed down or offer choices as whether on holiday or on expenses, this is not reasonable. Otherwise...excellent. For a hotel with interesting cuisine for dinner , stylish rooms and a swimming pool, expect bar staff to a) know what Prosecco is and b) to possibly have it ? November 21, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mcfadyen Brilliant , great value , great staff , excellent location ... Not much more to say to be honest November 15, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Room After complaing that the room was dirty, I was disgusted to find that the room still had not been cleaned properly. I didn't appreciate finding someone elses hair in the bed, or a crusty tissue on the floor whoch I picked up in the dark by mistake, a used coton ear bud in the bin. There was a net curtain missing so I had to have the blinds closed at all times. Unfortunately there were no staff in the spa so I was unable to have a massage. November 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Belfast Holiday Inn I practically live in Moscow Holiday Inn and so have some experience with the company. I can say the staff at the Belfast Holiday Inn are fantastic, very efficient and polite. The location is superb and I would be more than happy to stay there again. If only to pop into the Crown pub for the night. November 13, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Centrally located, good leisure facility Highly recommended but overall experience spoiled by very uncomfortable bed, this needs to be looked at by management. November 10, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good room - AWFUL bed - worst nights sleep ever in HI First stay at this Hotel .... initial fun & games to find as SatNav takes you around the corner from Hotel (by BBC building) ... so a bit of fun finding the place. Parking is not good at the hotel, any spaces are 'pay & disply', and you would to be up early to avoid being 'expired' However a large secure NCP multi-storey is behind hotel and the Hotel will validate your token so you get fixed price of £8 This does lock down at night so be warned it is no 24Hr access. Initial impression good ... bright, clean reception, welcoming staff. Had an upgrade to club room ... and the room was fine, nice wide screen TV, good sized room, good sized bathroom. The issue we had (wife & I) was that the bead was awful .. I mean truly awful, had no support at all, serious 'roll together' we both kept rolling into a trench in the centre ............ this was either an old and worn out mattress or had been bought at the pound store. I do over a 70 nights a year in IHG hotels ... and this was the worse bed, and as a result the most uncomfortable nights sleep I have ever had - you could feel the frame of bed poking into your back. Food ... we eat out in the evening ... loads of places to eat within a very short walk .... turn left at end of road and walk for 2 mins and you are surrounded by restaurants. We ate at a small Italian 5 min walk .. Carlittos' which was fine ... No shortage of choice nearby. Breakfast at Hotel was good ... and often a let down at HI, Egon Ronay it isn't but certainly edible and plenty of it. Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again if I need to go back to Belfast. November 10, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great room and comfortable bed, very clean bathroom The hotel was in an excellent location, the majority of the staff were friendly and curtious. the room was clean and comfy bed The downside was the breakfast. I wan not informed when checking in the breakfast needed to be booked the day before, there was an extra charge which the person failed to tell me at reception. The breakfast was ok but very overpiced for what it was. one waitress was rude to me on my last morning there. so during check out I had a very expensive bill for the breakfast that I was not expecting, that to me, put me off staying there again, which is a shame considering its a lovely hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed! All staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a very expensive stay in a very small room which did not have the amenities others describe. Booked months before stay but through the conference booking service. Room cleaning - splash under sink remained there throughout stay, dust on skirtings behind chair Breakfast - supply did not meet demand resulting in long queues and a wait for tables. Guests had to lean over stacks of bread to use (very slow) toasters with sleeves and elbows brushing against the bread. November 5, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 birthday surprise Booked for an overnight stay for mum's birthday so we could all go out in Belfast. Great location, rooms large and comfortable. Nice to have option of both shower and bath. Only downside would be view from room looking out onto a roof but not in room long so didn't matter too uch. Liked the screens on the windows kept the room dark in the morning. Would stay again, reasonably priced. October 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value Booked one month early and got a great rate. Comfortable room with all you need on a short break, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee and good shower. five minute walk to the centre of Belfast, an ideal location. NCT carpark one minute walk from hotel, only £4 from Saturday pm to Sunday. We will use this place again next time we are visiting the city. We didn't use the restaurant facilities as we were eating out. October 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by leisure facilities Stayed at this Hotel on Saturday 13th October 2012. The Leisure facilities were excellent. Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi were particularly liked and especially on the Sunday morning after a very late Saturday evening. October 20, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ENJOYABLE VISIT, WE EXTENDED OUR STAY This is our favourite hotel in Belfast and we visit a few times each year. Well worth it to book in advance for the best value. The man on reception when we arrived was really busy but still took time to ask me which room I would prefer and shared a little humour. Our room was fresh and clean with a well stocked mini bar, hospitality tray, ample toiletries in the bathroom and complimentary bottles water and chocolate. I considered the mini bar to be reasonable priced. We purchased vouchers for breakfast at reception and these cost around £8.50 each. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The toasters were not very good and I really wish toast was brought along with tea / coffee. I also thought some of the staff in the restaurant were uninterested as they spent a lot of time chatting amongst themselves and I had to go and ask them for tea / coffee. We enjoyed an enjoyable lunch one day and each evening called into the bar for a night cap. We enjoyed our stay and booked an additional night. I look forward to a return visit. October 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort and Style I had a wonderful weekend in historic Belfast staying at the Holiday Inn, I was in a spacious comfortable room, so convenient for the main attractions here. The team are very friendly and make sure everyone gets a great Ulster welcome. Highly recommend this hotel for business and Lazy weekend breaks, fantastic value. October 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All good A luxurious hotel in a great location with friendly and attentive staff October 7, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Spot Nice modern hotel in a good location with other bars and restaurants nearby. Warm welcome and room was excellent. Room rate was very good value for money which included a full breakfast which was to the usual Holiday Inn high standard. Bar prices proved very good value for that final Irish night cap. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Decent Night's Stay My first time stay in this hotel was a pleasant experience. The room was a decent size Flat screen HD TV in the room. Not full the freeview channels but still plenty to chose from. The staff were all pleasant and helpful Checking in as a priority club member was simple and quick As a club member I was given free wifi access (always a welcome contribution) Breakfast was excellent. On the down side, the bed was getting a little worn Shower over a small bath. I prefer either a dedicated shower cubicle, or a decent sized bath. I would certainly recommend this hotel, and will stay again when I return to Belfast towards the end of the year. September 30, 2012
