Felt safe in surrounding area. Secure parking area. Room was small with no exterior light, but met the purpose for our stay. Discounted cost was extremely helpful because of medical/hospital visit. Will be staying again May 9, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rocky first time stay We were first given room 171. Walked in to find room at a 20 degree angle. Bed at a slant and uphill climb to the bathroom. Reminded me of a fun house at a carnival. We were placed in another room after complaining.Our stay was for three(3) nights,but the last two(2) nights our room keys did not work and we had to go back to the desk to get the key activated. After a long day of sight seeing this was the last thing I wanted to do. Staff told us key deactivated because it was near our cell phones. I kept my key in my wallet rear pocket,phone front pocket. My wife did not even have her phone on the third day. I was not informed how to use my room key to exit the parking garage. I asked the front desk for procedures to exit the garage and my key failed. I wound up paying a day and a half fee to exit. Of course i was still charged a daily parking fee,latter adjusted at check out. On the plus side breakfast staff,bartender,housekeeping all were very friendly and informative.Our youngest son lives near the hotel and we will be visiting Boston at least two or three times a year.. We will be looking into your competitor down the street. May 8, 2016

Usually get upgrades at hotels as i stay with holiday inn, but they messed up the reservation and put me and my husband in a 2 double bed room - basically got downgraded from what i reserved online through their website.
