As a businessman who visits Boston two or three times a month I find the Holiday Inn at 1200 beacon street the perfect location for shuttling between the downtown business district and several Universities which are the focus of my business. Holiday Inn provides clean comfortable rooms, excellent service by a pleasant staff always will to respond to my questions and/or needs, in house restaurant, garage parking, all of which have made me a frequent and a satisfied customer. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Experience, Terrible Roo After requesting a handicapped accessible room, we were given a room that had no heat or ventilation in the bathroom! Every odor permeated the room and with the low temperature outside we had to try to heat the bathroom by leaving the door open to the room. UGH! The handheld shower head could not be properly secured. The sink had mold. The second room we were given the next day had a tub where the faucet wouldn't stop running untll the mechanic came to the room. The next day, when we tried to shower, water came out of both the shower head and the faucet. And the tub didn't drain. This was an awful experience and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
