Everything at the hotel was excellent!! Rooms were clean. Staff was wonderful!!
Hotel is in need of an update to the guest rooms, but still a nice place to stay.

There were so many thing Out of Order at this hotel that it became a game to see how many there were. They included:
Lights in the gym (50% off)
Clock in Gym
water cooler in gym
work out machine in gym
I knew this was going to be one of those stays when I walked up to the desk to check in and the lady answered the phone twice before acknowledging me 5 mins later. Got checked in went to my room, keys didn't work. Went back to the desk and the wrong room number had been written on my card.
I know these things happen, but it was just one after another. When I came out of the pool all the lights were off in the hall (pitch black) I asked someone walking by who works at the hotel and she said it happens all the time and maintenance was working on it. Now I know why they don't have time fix the other things.
Restaurant service and food was very good, but the rest of the hotel is very run down, would not go back.

the stay at Cambridge was relaxing except for the shuttle that was suppose to take us to the airport that didn't show up and the front desk staff member that didn't care about the problem. The front desk staff on at check in was very pleasant and helpful and the person in the lounge was very good at her job and excellant food

I would suggest that if you need a cheap, one night stay with no frills, this is the place for you. The hotel met our needs for one night of rest after a very busy day, but I would not want to stay for a second night. The ceiling was damaged in our room and the bed was falling off the rails. The kleenex box hide away cover fell off while accessing a tissue and I could not get it back on. The taps in the shower were very spotted which tells me that they were not cleaned. The staff was very kind and I did feel welcome. The rooms need some TLC and ultimately that is were I am spending the majority of my time, in the room, not with the staff.

stayed here a few nights because I am all about trying to stay in the IHG brands .... extra 30 min drive from where I am working ,but ok ..... I finished up a project today that was 4 days ahead of what it should have been and decided to have a few beers and dinner in the restaurant ..... after meeting others that are the same as I at the bar ...we were having a great time ....after a while the barmaid cut me off for having too many in a short time... ...I was fine with that (thought it was funny as after 6 beers I was fine .....went for a restroom break and ran across manager ( still having a great evening ) and jokingly explained my situation and he informed me I was cut off for being obnoxious...( I had not seen him all night )..sort of took me aback as we had only been joking around with a few people at bar ...... I returned to bar and asked if I was out of line ...maybe my southern humour in Canada was out of line ...everyone said no ...... the Bar maid then explained that he assumed that I was out of line because as she was training new girl and ,that canada rules says you most cut off after a certain amount and he was told that she had to cut off ....I can say at this moment ...I have never been treated this way by a staff member ...and this year I can also say this is worst hotel of IHG brands I have stayed in ..... next time here ...I will stay 30 mins closer to work , ...I am so embarrassed of the treatment here and I hold Royal Ambassador Status .....(never been treated so badly )

Not a good nights stay at this location, I would strongly suggest looking at other properties in the area.
