This hotel was fantastic for everything except the service for the conference I attended. The Conference organizers were constantly chasing for water, coffee (without grinds or of tar consistency) and had late meals. I also had two glasses in a row that either had lipstick (and I don't wear lipstick) or were filthy, some cutlery was questionable as well. The young staff did their best when asked, however did not know enough to look for these things beforehand. In my opinion this is a management/training issue. I would still stay there again as the other aspects were great and the staff is super.

Average accomodations. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Canmore; however one thing I would have to mention would be the paper-thin walls - I could hear everything both of my neighbors were doing (which I have never experienced at a hotel before...). Also the location was not ideal as I would have preferred to have been on the other side of the highway with walking access to the townsite. I personally would choose another accommodation over this one just for those reasons - but besides that it was clean, staff were excellent and amenities were average.

Food service is questionable. Not a quality restaurant for for HI.
House Keeping left dirty dishes in room for the all three days that I was there. Never cleaned them up. Finally put them in the hallway the last night.
Jacuzzi Tub did not work the first night in my room also.
I have came to the decision that I will stay somewhere else in Canmore. I am a platinum member and overall was very disappointed.

We rented the premiere loft jacuzzi suite, which is a very spacious and well featured room. We actually got it 60% off through an online promotion, which is a smoking deal. When we got there there was a Japanese bus tour that had just arrived and the entire lobby was elbow-to-elbow. I was worried that we were in for a long wait. I have to give kudos to the front desk staff as they had them all on their way in 10 minutes flat!
When we got to our room and turned the bed down for the evening, we noticed our pillowcases looked like they had been used to wipe a greasy machine before they were placed on our bed. One call to the front desk promptly had the entire bedclothes changed.
The restaurant was closed for some reason, which was a bit of a let-down. That is not really my beef though. What I have a problem with, is that the coffee mugs and glasses provided in our room had been swabbed with a filthy rag and left as "clean". They were quite nasty. I mentioned this to the management, and they said that it was not possible as it was their policy to bring all glassware to a central dishwasher and then clean items are distributed by room cleaning staff. They agreed to remedy the situation however. The next day after getting back to the room we found that a slightly less filthy rag had been used to clean the mugs and glasses, and that they obviously were not being put through any dishwasher at all. I can only imagine that the room cleaning staff was doing this at the request of management as the kitchen was completely shut down, but I cannot prove anything.
Bottom line is that I am extremely disappointed that they would let a small detail sour our experience. This is a health issue, and one that I cannot overlook. Therefore I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will not be returning.

Conveniently located close to Banff National Park. Room was spacious although carpets could have been better. Room not stocked with cream and sugar with complimentary coffee. Reception staff were extremely friendly & helpful.

We decided to pull into Canmore for a couple of nights on the way to a function in Banff. The room was a spa unit. The bathroom was a bonus with a seperate shower and and air Jacuzzi tub. The first night the spa didnt work but was fixed for the next night. The blanket was a little thin but the bed was comfortable. We had an extra blanket for the next night. Was able to get the room real cool temperature which was great. The TV channels were on the blitz but found out a power serge wreck the system. Restaurant was on renovations. But over all the hotel was great. Will surely be back.
