Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Beds We were in Canmore for a wedding. It wasn't until our first morning we noticed we had no coffee in the room. We also noticed the coffee pot was broken, but useable. My husband went down to the front desk to get some coffee. He also mentioned that our coffee pot was broken. We were advised that maintaince was busy, but someone would be there. Well that never happened during our stay. A group of us went downstairs to have breakfast. We choose to order off the menu. It took along time to get out order and all our meals were cold. We didn't say anything to the waiter because at this point we were all hungry. We also found that the restaurant/ bar hours were lacking. It never seemed open when we wanted to go for a bite or a drink. The hotel was booked with several wedding guest,so we all thought the restaurant should have been open more often then it was. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. November 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Quality at a Reasonable Price This hotel was a treat to stay at. My mattress was, by far, one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! This was a Ladies' Getaway Retreat and there were other women who also commented they were surprised how comfortable the beds were. The pillows were too soft for my liking but everything else was great. EXCELLENT food and service in the meeting room downstairs. Friendly staff and very clean. I will be coming back for a weekend away with my husband. Thank You!! October 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Met our expectations This hotel was attractive, up to date, and of the quality we expected from the description and photos. The bed was too hard for me, but fine for my wife. There is no swimming pool, and the only hot tub is outside. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. When we arrived, we asked for an upgrade to a king bed instead of 2 queens, but there are no standard rooms with a king bed. We then paid extra for a loft suite, which was wonderful. Top floor (3rd), cathedral ceilings, whirlpool in room. It was only available for 2 nights, so for the last 2 nights we went to a standard room (2 queens), but they put us in one of the few 3rd floor standard rooms with cathedral ceilings. A nice touch, a notch above normal. We ordered food service, and the food was excellent (hot wings and poutine). However, room service ends at 9pm and restaurant closes at 10pm, and after a day of sightseeing, this was usually the time we were returning home. October 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Usually good but not this time I've stayed at this IHG location before and it was very good. Unfortunately, this time, there was a large party of young people attending a wedding or similar event. They were loud and running up and down the hallways, whenever they left there rooms or were going to them. They all seemed to want to carry on a conversation from one end of the hall to the other or loudly when walking down the hall with their friends. Finally at 0030, all was quite. Normally, the night manager should be checking his building at least once in the evening - nut not this night. My room also had an air conditioning system that was not working and the room was too hot for the night. I'm a platinum member and typically IHG hotels are great. This one left me thinking I'll look elsewhere in this town next time. October 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel This was my first tine in Canmore and had no regrets. They accommodated our church group very well. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. I would definately recommend this hotel to more people. Great staff. And not to mention it's located at a great location, so you can drive 6 mins to any restaurant you wanted to dine at. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Paper thin walls We stayed for two nights and our first night was pretty sleepless from 1:30am - 5:00 am due to very loud neighbours. We called front desk twice and people were sent up to talk to them, I went down to the front desk the third time to complain. Their solution was to send security up again, which I told them not to bother as it did nothing the first two times. Loud neighbours are not fully the hotels fault, however the paper line walls are. The bed was not comfortable either, so a relaxing weekend away was not very relaxing. We were given breakfast vouchers for the noisey neighbours. October 7, 2014
