Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good service and sleep
All aspects were good about the hotel. They need a weight room and better cardio equipment. Wifi was very slow and the phone only phoned outside(i could not get an inside line for front desk or room service).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Louise62 previous experience excellent - different this time
my past stays have always been excellent - direct calling to Halifax and confirmation. The call this time was referred to a "representative: booked for one person with credit card - arrived and room was set for two people, and charge was higher, room given upstairs where specifically requested ground floor for easy access to outside for smoking; the room assigned was not made up, two beds unmade, things in room not cleaned out - assigned to another room which was satisfactory, on the first floor with access. The employee was not apologetic so I attribute that to being new...would I stay again definitely yes because I have always found the Holiday Inn at the Bridge very accommodating for the last four years, helpful and friendly - just hit a bad day!

Decent location, close to the mic mac mall, just a short drive over the bridge to Halifax and the downtown core. Nice view of the harbor. Staff was friendly and fast. The room was clean, beds were very comfy. I slept like a baby.

This hotel does the job, but not more then this.
It is nice to commute from there to the centre of Halifax using the ferry service which is a ten minute walk away. There are some shops and fast food places in the area.
The service in the hotel is just mediocre: I was given the wrong room type in the beginning, they charged me parking although I didn't even bring a car in the end. One of two lifts was not working during the entire 4 days of my stay. They were giving coupons for the breakfast but presenting a bill in the end so it was adequate to provide a gratuity for the friendly service there. However, I never came across such a strange system previously and they should treat their people better.
All in all, it is ok to stay there as the stuff is friendly and the place is clean, but there is much space for improvement for a Holiday Inn.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bcomer Stayed here before
I spread my stay across two intervals with the last being a single night. On the last night I had a different room on the seventh floor. The room smelled bad but it was late and another room was not available. There were no bath towels so a call to housekeeping was required.
The first interval was three nights and had no issues. They will wave the $10.00 parking fee if you ask nicely. They also threw in breakfast as well.
The day time counter staff are more friendly compared to the night shift. Could be the amount of traffic but they were never hard to get along with.
Would I stay here again - sure.
