Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not happy i always like your hotel but was unhappy about the door not opening and upgrading me to a room with a view didnt cut it since it was dark when i arrived and i wasnt there for the view anyway i was on the road for most of the day to get there in a snow storm , all i wanted was to relax in a comfortable room ,with timely service , what a letdown! next time in town i will review my options March 13, 2015

I was a little early arriving for a 2PM meeting start, but thought I would drop by the hotel to see if I could either check in, or at least check my bags. Not only was I able to check in, but they upgraded me to a room on the top floor with a balcony and view of the harbour! The young lady at the desk was very friendly and confided that she just loves being able to upgrade her guests; that is the kind of staff I love: they take great pleasure in making my stay better! The room was clean, and the bed was fabulous! Having a comfortable workstation in the room was a much appreciated bonus. I stay here frequently, and am always impressed with the quality service I receive.....thank you! March 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and helpful staff I have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the years, it's close to everything, easy access to Halifax and Dartmouth. The staff are very courteous and always able to help. Recent trip was during the winter with a heavy presence of ice around the city, therefore was unable to walk about too far. The hotel also had a leak, which they seemed to be on top of and managing quite well. March 9, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, good value We had a package that included buffet breakfast which we all enjoyed. I was impressed with the staff, especially Seychelle at check-in. The location is a bit tricky until you get used to the streets but otherwise it's a good central spot. March 7, 2015
