Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a disaster! Giving Holiday Inn and IHG a bad name First, I blame myself for giving this hotel another try. I travel for business and ususally stay at a place for 2-3 months out of the year. This time was for a week and I did not have internet the entire time. I contacted the front desk and they said they would look into it. One manager argued with me and said they have internet and so should I. The room is like any other room except everything was sticky. It looked like everything was wiped down with the same rag they used in the other 100+ rooms without washing it. I did not bother to contact the front desk because they would have just sent the same personnel to clean again. Instead I purchased clorox wipes and cleaned it myself. The day before checkout I asked for a receipt to document my week's stay. The front desk could not figure out how to print a receipt with Friday on it. They said "it is impossible to print tomorrow's receipt because tomorrow hasn't happened" I explained that every IHG hotel has done it for me in the past and it is okay if the balance does not say $0. She said "we are not other hotels, we are independent." They began to get irritated so I asked for a manager. I was told the manager will be in "in about an hour or so." Since the current time was just after 7:00, I asked if that meant the manager would be there 8, 8:30, or 9:00? She had an attitude and said, "yeah, probably around 9." She then stated I would have a receipt under my door at 3am. I explained that I had to leave the hotel at 1am and would not be there to receive it. She said "sorry to hear that" pointed to a desk with the managers card on it "there is a managers card, you can call her." She failed to mention the numbers on the manager's card leads to the front desk and she will be answering to put you on hold forever. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this hotel. They give IHG a horrible name. I will be back May-July and found another place to reside. I would not return to this hotel if it was free. February 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Traveler Not as Welcome We have stayed at this property a few times, but always on a weekday and have enjoyed our stay. However this last time we stayed a Friday and left on Sat. I went downstairs for coffee, and was told it was only available from M-F, but I could get it in the restaurant. I took my cups to the restaurant and they filled my cups, then presented me with a bill. I questioned the bill and was told to talk to the manager. He was sitting at the counter, and when I asked, he said since I got it from the restaurant- I owed it. He never even looked at me! I probably should have asked if there was a charge so I paid the bill, but I was extremely disappointed in how I was treated. I may think twice before I stay at this property again. February 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay yet The shower did not work. I called downstairs to the front desk and nobody answered. The phone just kept ringing. At 615 am, I gave up, cleaned myself with a wet towel and left. When I was leaving I told the front desk person that the shower was not working. She had a blank look in her face. And said "oh". After a few seconds I said *ok when will the manager be in" she said "930 10". I called at 1030 am and left a message and am still waiting on a call back 4 days later. I understand things break and everything will never be perfect, it's how you handle the situation after that defines your customer service. You get an "F" for cowering in the conner and hoping it blows over. On a more another note I am wondering how they cleaned the tub if the shower was not working. Was the room even cleaned. Who checked to make sure that the housekeeping did their job. Is this a symptom off a larger issue, at the top. January 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Place to Stay Exceptionally great place to stay. This was the last nite of our vacation and this was the best place we stayed the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The outdoors around the Holiday Inn were very nice even in January. Great looking pool area which we would have used if it had been warmer. Dining was great and servers were very friendly and attentive. Room was beautiful and very clean (almost like new). Will stay again if we are ever in the area. January 17, 2015
