Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by felt like a hostage I stayed on valentines day. The room was great and quiet. However theyhad no parking. A lot of people were upset. A lot of people were yelling and complaining. People were driving around and waiting for spots. We stay there a lot. Thi is the first time Ive seen it like this.we were afraid to leave due to not finding a parking spot. people were parking in the roundabout and having to park across thestreet. theyhad more rooms than parking spots. we stayed new years eve and it wasn't like that. There was no apologies, no offers for discount on rooms, no free food, nothing to makeup. all thatwas said was "this is all I have" We paid for freedom and didn't have it because we were afraid to leave. we left around 1 am to get some drinks across the street but when we came back our spot was gone but found anoher one luckily. I suggest you provide all gueststhat stayed there that night a free room. also a bar that is only open til 1030 esp on the weekend and on valentines day? and a pool only open til 10? give me a break. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Find another hotel I booked this hotel since it was close to the airport in Minneapolis/St. Paul and I've had good experiences at other Holiday Inn Express hotels, particularly the one in downtown St. Paul. First of all, the place needs updating, which is advertised as being planned. Secondly, the restaurant was not open at convenient times for non business travelers which we were. We were in town due to an event in the family, and could not get breakfast Sunday morning after 10 am or lunch that day either. Third, because I was using the room during the AM hours during my stay, I had to specifically request housekeeping services while I was out. Not a problem for me, but it seemed to be an unusual request to make and I felt as though I was asking for a favor and not for a service that should be readily provided. One plus: plenty of free parking and minutes from the airport. But if you want really good service and a better restaurant, and in particular if you are not a business traveller, stay at the Holiday Inn in downtown St. Paul. February 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unsatisfactory Room was very small. I did not get and upgrade for being a platinum member. Parking was insufficient for the amount of guests. Shower drain clogged. Settle drivers are rude and inconsiderate of other guests when driving in the parking lot. I have been cut off multiple times on various stays. February 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Guest services/van transportation My daughter and I needed a ride to the mall of america, we probably called to late on our check out day to get that ride. But the van turned around for us and came and picked us up at the hotel. Much appreciated!! The hotel is really good at accomidating they're guests. I stay there again, for sure!! All though I did have to tell them I was a IHG member, I just figured they would see that, I guess not. February 6, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wake up call Top of the line, excellent room. As is always typical, the alarm clock is set to A.M. instead of P.M. Trying to program this huge, moronic piece was impossible. Called front desk and asked for 6:00 A.M. wake-up, as my cell battery was very low. Call never came, thankfully my cell did make the alarm, as I was very concerned in how my wake-up request was handled. Nearly all of the hotels I stay at, one needs to be a space shuttle operator to program these idiotic room alarm clocks. February 2, 2015
