Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful, friendly and comfortable. I highly recommend this facility in particular. They go the extra mile on just about everything. The staff is very friendly, helpful and prompt. The rooms are very comfortable and large. It seems that pretty much, every hotel in the USA, offers the same old complimentary breakfast, NOT THIS FACILITY. I will be coming and staying at this facility, whenever I am back in El Paso. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst experience I've ever had staying at Holiday Inn Would never recommend thislocation. Hotel old. My request for room close to the lobby was ignored....safety issues for woman traveling alone. Room temerature never met. Problems with parking, bathroom drain, clock set for wrong time, television wanted to only sell me movies....not really an offer for the breakfast even though I was a Priority Club member. Was not told how old this facility was in advance of making reservations there. I should have some compensation for this visit and them I might consider staying at Holiday Inn Expresses in the future. March 8, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms We had a nice clean room, and friendly service. I think there may have been some trouble with the alarms during our stay...around 4am we heard alarms go on, and then off. Then they were on and off again. Not sure what that was about. Because I am a priority club member we were able to get a free breakfast. My husband and I were going to be traveling in the car all day to head back home to California, so we both wanted a coke with breakfast to keep us up while on the road. The waitress let us know that a coke wasn't included in the free breakfast, which was fine. We still wanted one though, but she would not budge to get one until she saw my husband pull out his wallet and she saw a few bills, like we didn't have the money or something. She was very rude to us the whole time we were in the restaurant. Of course, she would smile to try and be polite, but it was obvious that she didn't want us there. The rest of the hotel staff were very friendly though. So other than the alarms going off and the rude waitress in the restaurant, everything else was up to par. February 28, 2013

The concierge lounge was was a welcome pleasure at the end of the day and the staff were very accommodating. The only downside was that the Gov. rate was *NOT* per diem rates. Ruth tending bar was excellent at here job. Her social skills are top notch. Her ability to remember the names of the customers and what they drink are exceptional. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old - needs updating. Poorly laid out. Poorly marked stairs. Confused layout. Disjointed. Old. Cannot get from A to B without going outside. Old - needs updating. Band in pool area until 8:30 was too loud. Bar by pool was too loud. Room fixtures were old. Blank dryer fixtures in bathroom. GFI outlet in bathroom tripped - coffee maker had to be moved to desk outlet. Location near airport should realize clients stay there to make early flights - appreciate quite early. February 5, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not one of my top stays the room was old and in need of repair. The Chair was broken and the Remote was missing. They gave me a replacement for both but the remote was the wrong type or coded wrong, it only turned the TV on, had to get up and turn the channels and volume.Carpet was stained and looked as if someone was killed in there. Road noise could be heard all night. Bathroom has a number of vents for heat and ventilation so it was noisy. bathroom need an overhaul. No microwave or refrigerator in the room, not the holiday inn standard i would expect. January 25, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 New Years Eve Dance We stayed at the Holiday Inn for New Years Eve. The dinner was very good, the room nice and clean. The music was great. Had a great time dancing. However very bummed when at the stroke of midnight the traditional New Years Eve song "Auld Lang Syne was not played. Other than that the staftt was great! January 7, 2013

Over the many years my wife and I have been travelling the world, we have never been at a more friendly and comfortable Holiday Inn than this one in El Paso, Texas. From the time I asked at the desk if a room was available, through the provision of an excellent rate, on to a Priority Club reception, where we were welcomed by the hostess with lovely hot appetisers and as much wine as we cared to drink before dinner, to the friendly lounge and bartender, a superb dinner (note the one issue below) in the restaurant, a good night's quiet and sound sleep and on to the great hot buffet breakfast and the check-out, everything was first class in service and physical appearance. The one issue we had was the difficulty in obtaining a bottle of Merlot. The restaurant is contracted out, but it has to depend on the Hotel lounge bar for its liquor. The manager of the restaurant was unable to access the wine cellar and she could not find anyone with a key. We were provided with a bottle of Cab-Sauv instead of Merlot, as this was the only bottle available. Later, just before leaving, she provided each of us with a glass of Merlot on the house. She was the best and tried every way to gain access to the cellar, but in vain. This is poor management by the hotel or its corporate policies. The restaurant should be able to provide the hotel guests with whatever liquor or wine they require, within the limits of reason. Other than that, as I said above, this is the best HI in which we have stayed and the food was excellent. We met the chef and praised his menu and delectable food. December 18, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Maintenance This hotel needs some serious maintenance. The staff was great, the food for breakfast was very good! The room....not so good. -The fan for the AC makes noise every time it runs. -The shower got warm, but never hot. -The shower curtain doesn't stay in the tub so the floor flooded when I took a shower. There is a Holiday Inn Express across the street that is very new. Maybe I'll stay there next time. December 5, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lobby Bar I enjoy to sit at the bar and watch a sporting event in the evenings but the hotel bar had no ESPN or NFL network so I was forced to leave to the hotel every evening to sit in a different location. Also, the doors to the rooms are extremely noisy so you are able to hear people leaving their room from down the hall. The hotel night club was nice but the music can be heard in your room which gets a little annoying around 0100am. Not trying to complain but these are some of the things my 15 co workers and I discussed during the week. November 15, 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by check in Arrived at 12:30, tried to check in. Room not ready, told to come back in one hour. Came back at 2:30, room still not ready. Was told to come back after check in time of 3:00. Room should have been ready one hour after the initial attempt to check in. Receptionist never called house keeping to get room arranged as she advised. For a platinum member, this is not acceptable. Rooms and halls are dirty. The whole place needs renovating in the worst way. I will not stay here again. November 12, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Service To start with it took over 15 minutes to get checked in and I wasn't even recognized as a Priority member. Since when does Holiday Inn's not have a restaurant open on weekends to eat. There was a lounge for drinks only and they only served drinks and no food. They were late opening and then I was watching a show on the TV and the bar maid came over and turned it for another customer who had just walked in….very rude!! Breakfast was very unorganized and the food was cold. Will not go there again!!!! November 10, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by El Paso Airport Holiday Inn This is an older hotel but the rooms have been redone and are very nice, great HD TV, and the shower pressure was excellent. The food in the attached restaurant was very good and all of the priority club membership perks were great as was the nightly entertainment. The location is great to for access to the major highway through the area and the airport. Just make sure if your there for an extended stay to get a room away from the main hall. You will have quite a bit of noise on the weekends from the bar and entertainment that goes on. The only complaint I have is having to go ask each morning for your breakfast voucher. Overall I would highly recommend the hotel October 16, 2012
