Room was clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet included; although, you do have to pay gratuity to have drinks filled which is kind of stupid. Overall great quality.

The majority of the staff was outstanding, they were friendly and greeted all the guests every time one entered their area, The hotel is "old and tired." There were visible gaps around the door to the outside, the AC couldn't keep up with the moisture entering the room, and the batteries for the TV remote were dead.
I had a medical emergency arise and needed to depart after noon but before 3. Called the desk and explained the situation. I was forwarded to the "Customer Service" lead. Go his voice mail box, left contact information, but was never contacted. Even if they couldn't refund my second day's stay, a phone call would have been appropriate.

The breakfast was not edible. The room never got hot water due to a faulty spicket that the hotel staff came to fix twice. The water never stopped flowing. It did not just drip, it flowed. The staff was also unable to fix that problem. The rooms were quite noisy from the hallway if anyone spoke. We have stayed in a number of Holiday Inns that were quite nice, but, disappointedly, this was definitely not one of them.
