Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome! Is there an option to HIGHLY RECOMMEND?!? This place is that great. This hotel made me feel like I was some sort of VIP. The welcomed my and every single employee I passed smiled and said hello. It was awesome! Ohh, at the food from the Generals Quarters (the on site restaurant) is great. Great food and TVs everywhere to watch the games. It was, you guessed it, AWESOME! February 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay for the weekend I have been a IHG/Priority club member for 9 years and have stayed at this brand of hotel only, my stay at this hotel was one of the best, the staff from the front desk, maids, servers was outstanding. This is an older hotel but it was very clean, our room was very nice and we had a very nice time. We needed a taxi to go to a club, the staff called one for use and made sure that he would be able to pick us up. I recommend this hotel to everyone and if I ever go back to Fayetteville, this is where I will stay. If the management read this your entire staff deserves a raise. February 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not good This hotel is one of the worst and my second bad experience with the Holiday Inn Chain. This Hotel is old and desperately in need of renovation. The layout is very difficult to navigate as such you will need a map locate the parking, restaurant, gym, etc. Floors have dips, the carpet is noticeably worn throughout the hotel. Color scheme is very strange colors such as red, which creates a eerie atmosphere considering the age of the building. Room walls have some cracks and in need of paint, furniture is also dingy looking. Bedsheets and bedspreads were clean but the sheets were long past due for replacement as the fabric shows obvious signs of wear such as thinning spots and lint. I found remains of a roach on the floor. Microwave was dirty. The Refrigerator had some sticky stuff on one of the handles. The toilet water flow was slow. The Gym does not have disinfectant wipes to wipe equipment off before and after use, and the water cooler was empty. The Business center computer keyboard is very worn and dirty. There is no complementary breakfast, only coffee. These are the reasons that I would never recommend ever staying in this hotel. February 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old and noisy Staff make up the good that I can say about the place. Chef and the front staff are very cordial. The hotel is 40 plus years old and was originally another brand. The hotel is made up of three sections and you must go outside to get to the main area unless you want to go up the SLOW elevator down the hall and back down the elevator. When you do go outside, don't expect the door to work going back. Only 1 door with a key pass was working. The hotel was not built with noise in mind. Very long hallways that echo. The housekeeping failed to make up our bed both days we were there. They dropped towels and that was it. Gym equipment was old and broke. January 29, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not worth the price I stayed over the weekend I was disappointed at the quality of the room and the facilities for being an intercontinental property. The bath tub had rust in it the door had a big nasty patch in it the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was used somewhere else before I don't know why they would put a dropped ceiling in a bathroom The bar was so cold it was uncomfortable to sit in had to been below 55 deg. The common areas were all very cold not just chilly but cold. I have been in plenty off lower priced hotels that were much nicer. I expect quality out of ICHG Not able to relax because there were a hotel full of kids for a tournament I was woke up several times from doors slamming and kids yelling. January 29, 2014

The staff are incredibly helpful and make you feel at home. Rapheal goes out of his way to ensure you have a pleasant stay, and his hospitality is the reason I return. January 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff-- facilities can use an upgrade soon Location of hotel is great. There are many good restaurants within a 5 mi radius of hotel. It can be a little hard to find because it is not directly off I-95. Staff are courteous. The fitness room is adequate. For a double bed room the beds seem slightly smaller than a full size. As a result the room was more spacious than most other hotels I stayed in. Free breakfast is only offered to two guests at most. Additional guest can purchase the hot breakfast at about $10 each. Facilities are a little dated and will be due for a maintenance upgrade soon. Overall a very pleasant stay. December 24, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too Bad The receptionist attempted to be very accommodating but didn't inform me that our room was in the "dungeon" and was in an area where there was renovation occurring. We had to park too far away from the room as the normal entrance door was not in use. The room may have been clean but everything was old and required replacement and just didn't look up to standard. We were looking forward to being able to have dinner in the hotel. We walked by the restaurant at 7:30 and it appeared closed and did not have any diners. We had to check at the front desk to see if they were actually open. We did eat in the dining room and the food was good and the lone waiter did a great job. One other party of three did come in about half way through our meal. I couldn't use my nickname to submit b/c it has already been used! Yes, I have used it in the past December 10, 2013

Unfortunately our beloved pet died of a heart condition while we were there. Your staff showed so much care and compassion we were highly impressed. Along with many hugs and expressions of sympathy, they got together and fixed us a fruit/cheese tray and a personal pet sympathy card. They were always smiling and went out of there way to help me. On top of this the breakfast was great and the food from the cafe was AMAZING (to go along with fantastic service). The front desk clerk Virginia was the most pleasant person I have ever encountered at any hotel. She was extremely efficient at checking me in and was more polite and courteous than any employee I have ever come across. Great location to Fort Bragg post, friendly and knowledgeable staff, place was keep clean at all time, we enjoy the breakfast because of the variety of food and again the staff make you feel welcome, plenty parking and we really sleep well every night. The staff was so attentive to my needs and went out of their way for everything. Great job to the employees who keep the hotel spotless. Never stayed here before, convenient location at end of All American Freeway with easy acces to Fayetteville areas and Ft. Bragg. Room was generally clean, could have used some better lighting for room. Good WIFI service. Small gym. Excellent selection of breakfast buffet, staff was courteous and accommodating. Only issue was with bill/checkout - original made reservation for multiple rooms for colleagues and each of us had trouble getting our receipts to show up with our own name even after checking in and providing different credit card numbers and names. This might have been a computer issue, staff was eager to assist and fix the problem. November 13, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reunion for WW2 veterans We recently had a reunion for WW2 veterans. Twenty four hours before our banquet dinner, we added 17 people to the event. We were told that we would be charged an additional $250 set up fee in addition to the fee for the meal. I feel this charge was excessive and unwarranted. I was not involved in this conversation but as an officer of the Association I am very upset about this extra charge. Our reunion lasted four days and we had approximately 50 people staying in your hotel and most ate multiple times in your restaurant. We brought in a lot of business and were taken advantage of with this excessive fee. October 23, 2013
