Being frequent Holiday Inn users, this was by far the worst experience we have ever had at one of these hotels.
1 - Being priority club members, we are entitled to breakfast the next day. We explained that we had to be on the road very early and would they do a small bag breakfast for us. The clerk stated they would not do this but they would have coffee, granola bars and fruit available for us in the morning. The next day, the night clerk said only coffee was available and never even offered to accommodate us even after we explained what the evening clerk had said.
2 - When we arrived in our room, we noticed that both the clock on the microwave and clock radio did not work. We called the desk, all the clerk said was thanks. We never did get a clock and spent the night not knowing what time it was.
3 - There were 50-60 teenagers on our floor that were very noisy in the halls and outside our window. Both my wife and myself asked them and their adult supervisors to quieten down as it was late at night and we had to get up early. When the noise continued, we had to call security and have them intervene.
All of the above items are not what I would have expected from this Holiday Inn.

A group of us have stayed at this Holiday Inn for 3 years in a row. it is an annual event for us! We love this facility. However we have had problems with our payment the last 2 years. We each have given our credit cards to the person at the front desk for payment. We each want to pay our half of the rooms. When we get home and check our cards it is unreal who has been charged what amount!!! It takes an act of Congress to get this straightened out! I can't ever get the person in charge of billing to return my calls. We pay in good faith and expect to have this payment received in a correct way! Please see if there can be an easier solution!

This hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable. I warn you not to even think of going to the restaurant in the hotel. We ordered a primivera dish. Pasta was not cooked. When we complained they said they would only charge us for one "bad" dinner. ($12.00). Of course we did not go along with that solution to a bad dinner. Finally, we ordered a small pizza as we had been there almost two hours. We wondered why no one was in a big restaurant at 6 p.m., but after our experience, we know why. Hotel was OK.

Only issue with hotel was restaurant and the staff in the restaurant. Upon entering to have dinner, no staff present. After about 5 minutes, someone finally came out. Ordered a drink and bartender stated that they were out of what I had ordered. I ordered another drink, and bartender said that they were out of it also. After walking up to the bar to inquire what she had, she stated that the hotel had just hired a new chef and due to changes in management, she didn't care about the staff concerns raised, so therefore, they were out of almost everything.
Then again, while eating my meal, my waitress started talking to another customer about pay and stated that she was only there for the extra money. She could make 2-3 times more money in her other job and it really wasn't worth it. I have never been in a hotel or experienced such a thing where I have encountered such a jaded and unpleasant staff. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
The next morning, I spoke with MOD, Mitch (Executive Housekeeper) as the GM was off-site. Explained this to him and he apologized.

Fayetteville Holiday Inn is a great stop on the trip down the east coast. Though the furniture is getting a bit tired it is still a clean relaxing to stay.

Husband and I had a very long evening. Upon entering the room we noticed that we had no towels. That was nicely taken care of. Room was very clean. The nightmare began around 9am the next morning with housekeeping banging on doors. I answered. The lady that appeared to be the supervisor walked off. I called the front desk. I was told that some people check out early so that may have been the reason for the knocks. Shortly after I made the phone call I could hear this same lady from housekeeping complaining about the complaint. When I say loud I mean loud. I really felt threatened. My husband asked me not to complain so I did not. We often travel and stay overnight in very nice hotels, but I have never been afraid to leave my room. I can only imagine what the employees are going through even if she is not the supervisor. She ruined the stay.

This is a nice property. Our stay was very brief. We checked in at 3:00 AM and back out at 8:30 AM due to a family medical need. But, we didn't sleep well even as tired as we were because of the awful pillows. They're these weird little square pillows that are hard and way too small. They need to get some normal pillows.

Over all service and staff was great. I like the idea of having secured access to the rooms, except while exiting through the rear stairs i found the door at the bottom of the stairs was not locked and the door latch was missing and the door was damaged leaving the hotel accessable to the public which defeats the security for the guests.

Staff was not polite, statement about credit card or cash deposit to stay in a room. I stay in motels 52 weeks out of the year. I have been in the rewards program since the 90's. I never charge to my room or have "incidentals. Will not be back. Too many other places to stay. I am working in the area for the next 6 months....Holiday Inn will not be my stay-over point.

We stayed at the Fayettville Holiday Inn on our way to visit family in New England. After a long drive from Florida is was nice to find comfortable, clean accommodations that also accept pets.
We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff and manager go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay at this hotel. The restaurant is above average for sure. The food was very good and service was great.

I have to give an extra compliment to Vincent and Shannon at the desk. I stayed going and coming from Florida and both times they made me feel like they knew me forever. Also a special thanks to our server in the Baron restaurant. Brittney you are the best. So sweet and attentive.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, it was our second time and the second was better than the first! We arrived from Va at 11:30am and of course... a room was available, boy we were happy because we had a very early start. The location of the site is close to just about every place we usually have to go so we really like that. The staff is very professional, polite and friendly. Southern hospitality definitely displayed each time we visit! We love the Holiday Inn sites : )

a pet friendly room should not equate into a dirty smelly room. the bathroom was filthy and the room smelled. thank God we arrived late and left first thing in the morning. the pet-friendly hotel next door that we stayed at 2 weeks earlier was cleaner and offered free breakfast for half the price.

I have one problem with the buffet breadfast. I do not eat pork. I asked for turkey sausage and had to pay $3.51 for 3 links of sausage.You had pork sausage and pork bacon on buffet for breadfast without any extra charge. I do not see the difference in why I had to pay for my turkey sausage extra. The room was very nice also the bed was very comfortable. overall was very pleased. I stay quite frequently with your hotel.

the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was great! The only issue we had was with the buffet breakfast. There was a group on a bus tour staying at the hotel who seemed to all head to the buffet at one time. After waiting for 15 minutes for an omelet, I cancelled my order and just got some scrambled eggs. The staff was trying very hard to keep up with all the requests, but the other guests kept making changes to orders.

We stopped while on a business trip and were happily surprised at this exceptional hotel. We are IHG members and stay regularly but this hotel is above most others. The room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. It opened onto a relaxing courtyard with lovely flowers and trees. We ordered room service for supper and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal. The breakfast buffet was also very good. We definitely plan to stay here again soon.

We were traveling on I95 south and had decided we would stop within the next 1/2 hour. I saw a billboard for the hotel saying indoor pool. We decided to give it a try. The hotel was beautifully kept and the front desk was extremely pleasant. I am handicapped so we requested a first floor room. There were none ready but they suggested if we could wait just a few minutes they would have it ready. The room was beautiful and more than sufficient for our needs. Each first floor room had access to a private courtyard that was well manicured. My grandson had fun playing there too. We were able to go from the courtyard to the indoor pool without having to go thru the lobby. Since we are reward members breakfast was free for us and my grandson was under 12 so he was free too. They had a woman custom making omlets and it was the best I have had in a long time. They also had buffet breakfast. When we were leaving my husband told me to write down the name of the hotel so that if we are traveling in the future we know where to stop. I highly recommend going there

This was the second time that I have stayed at this Hotel. The first was when my son and I were there to visit a college. Since our first experience was wonderful we stayed there again when we had to move him to college. Every time you come across a staff member they ALWAYS greet you with a hello and how are you doing. I don't know if it is just southern hospitality but I have never encounted such freindly people. I had the opportunity to speak with numerous staff members and every single one of them was pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food was great! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone that is looking for a place to stay! PS. I even have my next visit booked!

My family and I stop here yearly on our way to Myrtle Beach.
This year during our stay we found the bath room to in be somewhat "tired" condition. The bathtub was stained (from a drain above it)
The drain cover was hanging loose from the ceiling .
I also killed a couple of bugs (earwigs)in the bath.
The room was also missing a chair that was there last year.
As always your staff was great!

The air conditioner control - did not control. One level only.
The condensation from the air condition unit was piped into the bath tub. A nasty looking brown stain was the length of the bath tub and you could hear the dripping water.
Room had the feeling of being dirty.
