Our friends and family like to gather here once a year to play and swim. The facility has a relaxed and easy going feel.

I have stayed at this location once before and it was ok. Thus trip I could not get the room to warm up at all. While there I had to fix the toilet to get it to flush. I also had issues with the cable not working very well. There was a fire alarm while I was there for a broke. Speinkler. Also while in the shower the power went out.
The food was excellent.
Other visits while I previously visited where very nice.

I have mentioned this Holiday Inn to a number of parents from Hood college. It has entertainment for little brothers/sister, and adult entertainment for the parents. I recommend the chicken wings! The staff is always willing to help in any situation to make your stay enjoyable.

Nice place to stay, but the staff needs to be more attentive of complaints that create safety concerns.

I'm a serial guest at this inn, and for good reason: The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the Sunday breakfast buffet is a delicious end to a nice stay.
Tucked away behind the FSK Mall in Frederick, the inn is a little hard to find the first time, but with a map of the last three or four turns from Google Maps (or your GPS system of choice), it's not a big problem. Check-in is quick and easy, all the rooms are easy to reach from both the lobby and the secondary entrances, and parking close to the building is seldom a problem. If you're a little mobility-challenged, ask for a ground floor room; this inn has no guest elevator.
The amenities here are standard Holidome fare -- indoor pool, hot tub, miniature golf course, and exercise room -- but all are well maintained, well lit, and easy to get to. I particularly like the poolside rooms, in spite of (or maybe because of) the sound of kids playing in the water in the early evening. Even if you don't care to swim, it's nice to step out of your room, grab a lounge chair by the pool, and relax with your reading material of choice.
The in-room amenities are very good, also -- fast, easy to access WiFi, Keurig coffee makers, and refrigerators are available in the rooms. Finding an outlet near the coffee maker to plug it into was a problem, but moving it into the bathroom was a passable workaround.
All in all, this is a great place to stay. It's my first choice whenever I stay overnight in Frederick, even if I have to pass a few other motels between wherever I happen to be visiting and the inn. Give it a try; I think you'll like it, too.

It was a very good place to stay for a business trip.. Enjoyed playing golf and swimming after a long day of work.
