Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst hotel in years We had a miserable experience at Holiday Inn Frisco. I booked our room from the website; Standard with roll away. Well, Standard is the same as the double bed option but for some reason both are an option. The 'Standard' room can not accommodate roll aways because of fire laws. Well then don't give me the option on the website please. We arrived tired after a few hour drive and had to push the luggage cart all over- up and down ramps, not a well thought layout for such a large hotel chain. The reservationist advised me to book a suite for our second day upon hearing that I needed more space to accommodate our family at check in- she wouldn't do it then but she said to ask in the morning. Well they were all booked in the morning. Frustrating. We also had the sad experience of eating in the restaurant on Saturday night of Martin Luther King weekend. The empty restaurant spoke volumes but we had already tried multiple places on Main St and we needed to feed the kids. The food came out at random intervals and the quality was poor. It was telling of the entire establishment. ---Oh and don't get me started on the Green Pool. January 22, 2015
