Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Circle of Delight We found this property to be surprisingly a joy...The hotel is circular which makes it stand out and easy to find. You can see it from the Mississippi River bridge. The staff was awesome in every way. We had a double queen room which was very spacious...it was like having a suite without the suite...The only thing we thought needed improvement was the bathroom set up...there was no door to the vanity area but a door separated the toilet and bathtub/shower which made this area very tiny...you had to go in the room and turn to close the door...it would have been better if the door was a slider and for them to include some kind of privacy divider for the vanity area where you would have the option to leave that door open if you like by shutting the vanity area from the rest of the room. Though the property had a couple of mechanical issues, the staff's response to those issues was phenomenal. Both dryers malfunctioned on day two of our stay...the hotel volunteered to dry our clothes for FREE as a compensation. Both were back functional the very next day...however, the staff still offered to launder our clothes complimentary and hand deliver to the room upon completion!! That was BEYOND excellent customer service. Anything we needed, it was resolved expeditiously. I know where I will stay for future New Orleans trips!! July 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable Stay Hotel was kind of hard to get to (for an out-of-towner), but once we arrived, we were rewarded with comfortable and clean rooms. Disappointed that the pool's shallow end was 4 feet; don't consider this kid friendly. Staff was excellent. Wasn't used to having breakfast in a bar and grill, but buffet was good. I would recommend this hotel; the grandkids enjoyed it. June 15, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, bathroom and maidservice below average Main room was comfortable and clean as per usual. The bathroom was clean but the shower rod was loose and hanging down. Lack of a vanity even a small one with the water pipes exposed really was not very inviting.The night staff associate was very nice and helpful. We had made a reservation earlier but there was no record. There were no toiletries in the room (shampoo, soap, lotion. This will in no way deter us from staying at the tower in the future. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok Room This was an ok place to stay.. room really isn't that big.. and it is right next to a highway.. overlooking it actually... So when loud cars go by at 2am, you know it.. We did have a big problem-We took a cab from there to downtown New Orleans, and could not get a way back... No cabs wanted to run to Gretna-This hotel is in Gretna, not New Orleans.. Took us and hour and a half in the rain, to get a cab to take us back... the room really wasn't that clean when we got there, the bedspread was stained, there was change(coins) along the bed frame, and the remote was missing a battery, which we later found under the bed.. You would think housekeeping would know if the remote was missing a battery.... April 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay I took advantage of the park and cruise package. I found it a little hard to find the hotel, but when I did I was very happy to find that this was a gem. When I check in I was greated with a smile and checked right in. The room that I had was clean and up to date. The food in the bar was well priced and tasted great. I plan on another cruise next year and will stay again at the hotel. The price was outstanding. Overall I would say this is an awesome place. As a former General Manager of several hotel I can say without a doubt this is a great place to stay! April 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service? Customer service doesn't exist in this place. Staying in hotels over 280 nights a year I am a member of this brand of Priority Club. Not once was I greeted as a Priority member. When I mentioned it only then was it explained to me the so-called benefits at this property. I was told I would receive 20% off each meal in the attached restaurant-- never happened. Further, when ordering anything from room service I was told by the order taker that it would just be quicker to come down and get it myself. Nice! Parking at this property is also a nightmare. When staying in NOLA, spend the extra money and stay across the river. April 2, 2013

We had great service from the front desk, restaurant was handy for breakfast or a drink. The best part was proximity to ferry that went to Toulouse Wharf which was close to French Quarter and sightseeing. That meant no traffic hassles! March 29, 2013

Front desk staff was very courtious and very patient with our children. Only comment was our room faced hwy/overpass and at night could hear traffic. So request city view if you plan to stay. Restraunt in hotel food was good, however service very slow. March 11, 2013

It's location was great, however the staff at the front desk was rude as heck. the day of check-in my flight arrived early so i made my way to the hotel only to ask what time check-in was. Before i could get any word out the lady at the fromt counter screamed, "WE DON'T HAVE ANY ROOMS!". Little did she know that i already had a reservation and was only asking a question. A few nights later while returning from work, there was a lady mopping in front of the front desk. She has a wet floor sign out but it was no where near the Elevator. As i pressed the elevator button i again heard a loud scream, "What are you doing? Step away from the elevator! I'll press the button and you can come back when it's here, I'm mopping!" It was aweful the way she said it. If they had respectable staff my stay would have been AWESOME. And I am a priority member, wow March 5, 2013

Hotels during vacations is to relax and it is the first time that we received a poor service at a holiday inn. Instead of help I received an agressive anwser from a house skiping person on duty. you should review this. I believe you can improve house keeping service at this location. Thanks, January 9, 2013
