Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Calidad en el servicio Cuando llegué al hotel me informaron que mi habitación era de fumar, xq no especifiqué de no fumar...es raro porque soy socia HIG y me hospedo al menos 3 noches al mes en diferentes holiday inn, y es la primera vez que me dicen q no lo especifiqué y que no podían cambiar mi reservación!! Hasta que solicité la cancelación de la reservación para ir a buscar un hotel que si me pudiera ofrecer una habitación de no fumar, entonces hablaron con la persona de reservaciones (que más tarde se vino a disculpar) para que autorizara el movimiento!! No espero eso de la cadena hotelera que normalmente prefiero! February 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by In process of remodeling rooms and facilities. Great service. The hotel is in the process of remodeling their rooms. We got one of the new ones, and it was just excellent. Beautiful slate flooring that does not create any echoing, modern look, lots of room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful grounds in the middle, with lots of grass (perfect if you have kids). Breakfast buffet very Mexican with fresh fruit, ladies preparing your eggs any style you request, chilaquiles, beans, etc. They only need to improve their fruit juices (they seem to be watered down). Note that pool is not heated. Hotel is quiet. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Hotel is located on a very busy boulevard known for having lots of hotels, restaurants and bars, with upper scale neighborhoods, allowing for very nice walks. The only problem we had was the reliability of hot water in the shower. It would take a long while for the hot water to come out, and when it did, it was not regular. We had to keep adjusting the faucet constantly. Staff was informed of the issue, security guards were sent out to try to figure out the problem, which was not resolved. December 31, 2013

I had a problem with some adjust that I made to the reservation, I was asking to include breakfast and in the morning when I asked for was refusd to me, 'cause somebody forgot to specify/link the adjust and payment already done a day ago. The only recommendation that I can do is to give breakfast tickets in advace to avoid this kind of issues, everything else was OK. K.R. September 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hotel.....not so wonderful dining room Although we had the privilege of staying at this hotel twice during August of 2013, I think I would have a difficult time convincing my husband that we should stay there again. The hotel itself is terrific, however, the staff in the restaurant leave much to be desired. They are certainly courteous, however, it seems as though they've had either no training as a wait staff or just don't care about the service industry. What a shame as the rest of the staff are totally incredible! August 24, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Older property under renovation. Minimal amenities. Good news: food in the restaurant is very good though expensive. Decent location. Reliable WiFi. Bad news: 1) Under noisy renovation 08/13. Expect jackhammers. 2) Service generally slow/poor and inattentive 3) Rooms and public areas lack even basic amenities (fridge, microwave, sundries shop, coffee). 4) Rooms are small. 5) 2 floors, no elevator. Must haul bags up stairs. 6) Outdoor pool is cloudy and unwholesome looking. 7) Desk, restaurant unable or unwilling to make change 8) Rooms are clean but showing wear due to age. This is the 3rd Holiday Inn I've stayed in in Mexico and the 20th one overall this year. I would not return to this property. The other Mexican Holiday Inns were very good and exceeded expectations. The Hermosillo facility was several grades below standard. Really the only HI property I've found that I would not recommend. Very disappointing in numerous ways. August 11, 2013
