Me and my husband stayed here over the weekend, it was so awesome, the Staff very friendly!! i am usually gross out by staying at hotels but it was beyond clean!!!!!!!! i wished could of stayed longer we surely come back and stay at this one. The distances to the board walk was perfect. i will recommend this hotel to anyone!!! the place was also up to date very modern.

We stayed at this hotel before we left for our cruise the next day. We went to eat dinner and before we left the hotel we asked what time the hotel restaurant and bar closed. They said 10:30. So we went to eat dinner and then came back and went to the bar. We sat down and ordered one drink. We were then told at 8:00 that they will be closing in 20 minutes because the bartender was leaving and that the wait staff was also leaving. So basically they kicked us out by 8:30 p.m. We were very disappointed because we just wanted to hang out in the hotel bar and relax before we headed to our cruise. We even asked them when we walked in if they were open until 10:30 and they said yes.
I then told the staff at the front that next morning and yes they were shocked but they didn't do anything about it. They just said "we will look into it" I am not sure what that means because we were already inconvienced by making us leave before closing time was supposed to be.

I am very picky when it comes to hotels. The room was immaculate and the decor is beautiful. Additionally, every staff member from the front desk to the bar were exceptional. the Holiday Inn will be my home anytime I am in Kemah!

The Holiday Inn is very close to family that lives in League City. Did not try the restaurant, but will try it next time. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding. The entire wedding party stayed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Sportsbar was good to our group. We all ate breakfast both days..the food was good and the prices were reasonable. The staff was VERY accommadating to our group. The room was clean and comfortable. Love the location! We will stay again!

Resturant service is poor , not enough employees on hand , breakfast takes forever , Food is not good at all , the only thing that tastes ok is the hamburger . I've tried several different dishes but finally gave up on this resturant. The hotel room desk is too high to sit comfortably , room layout is not good . nothing comfortable to sit on other than the bed. I probably will not stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and fresh. Well furnished, and decorated. Where they lack is in the little extras a lot of HI will do. They offer next to for Priority Club members. All members get a bottle of water and bags of Lays Chips. Platinums at most HI will get upgraded. These guys "might" upgrade but only one level. On multiple nights I have stayed, there have been numerous suites that sit empty all week. (Apparently the owner will not let the staff upgrade to suites).
Another example, there is no "lobby coffee". On the way out one morning I asked, I was directed to the restaurant. They restaurant charged me, falsely claiming they were separate from the hotel. SportsNews and Kems all all owned by the same entity owning the hotel. Lobby Coffee is important because thats how one can get the little mini half and half creamers to take to the room for room coffee, (does anyone even use that powdered junk).
Not all HI do beer and wine for Priority Club, this one definitely does not.
Long story short: the problem with this hotel is not the building, staff or amenities, its the owner. (They just don't understand the importance of investing in PC members) Regular Priority Club members who are frequent business travelers will probably not be happy here. Vacationing families there for the boardwalk will. Business Travelers will be happier at the HI in Webster.

The hotel was clean, the room was large and the staff was friendly. The hotel is in close proximity to the Boardwalk.
