Needed a quick stop in Leesburg. The experience was superb from the booking process, to the check in/out process, to the actual room. Front desk staff was outstanding. Military friendly.

The overall appearance was shabby - chipped paint, grubby side entrance, rippled wallpaper, gaps between wall & ceiling, and bathroom fixtures. When we arrived there were piles of dirty linens in the hallway outside numerous rooms.
The temperature in the room swung wildly from hot and dry to cold and dry when trying to adjust the temperature.
The breakfast variety looked good, but the melon tasted not ripe and spoiled at the same time, the eggs were hard and dry, the grits were very watery. I was offered a wonderful orange spice tea that was very good.
Not what I am used to from Holiday Inn.
The front desk staff was very good.

The hotel is a good value for the cost. A bit disappointed at check-in. Barely acknowledged being a Priority Club Gold member (in passing). Light bulb on one of the night stands was burned out. Had to switch out bulb with other lamp in order to read.

When I checked into the HI the desk personnel took a map and showed me where our room was and then circled an area in the hall way and said that breakfast was available there and that it began at six thirty AM. When I went to the area in the hall circled on the map I found the restaurant and found it did not open until seven AM. When I went to the front desk for assistance there was no one there. And my voice did not bring anyone from the back room. I went to the restaurant at seven and found the breakfast was NOT complimentary like in most Holiday Inns. It is my opinion that the front desk clerk was misleading when she told me breakfast was available at the circled area on the map instead of saying the restaurant was there. It caused an embarrassing situation. The bathroom in our room had mildew on the tile and grout next to the bathtub. The tile and grout need to be replaced. The whole hotel stunk of a spice or air freshener used to attempt to cover the overwhelming smell of garlic from the restaurant.

Awesome hotel and very pet friendly. The room was perfect, had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The laundry was a little more then we intended to spend.
