The hall carpet is looking a bit tired and needs replacing, but the rooms are immaculate with snowy white bedlinen, comfortable beds and pillows of your choice. There is a very nice restaurant, but we particularly enjoy the pub meals. The Heathrow Ariel - my favourite hotel for winding down before the long trip home. October 24, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room service/ Bed I had breakfasts included, but did not want to go downstairs, so left card outside doors to get room service breakfasts at 10:00. However at 10:30 had to call reception as our breakfast was not delivered. About 11:00 finally received them. At least they did not charge me for tray charges. Also it was two single bed pushed together. As I was sleeping in the middle was falling into hole. Not good at all. October 23, 2013

When I did get to my hotel, the staff was extremely unfriendly about helping me find my way around the city. They also could not tell me where my room was. .... I had to walk around the hotel to find out where I could sleep. I did want to try the restaurant after trying to get around London for a day (I will say the natives are a lot kinder than those at the hotel) . If you have kids, a family, or are a person who expects good service.... don't expect it here. I was not satisfied. I let my server know and the person at the front desk. I was told the exchange rate is good, so I got a good deal.... There are many hotels near the airport that would be better.. This is the first time I have NOT recommended a Holiday Inn, but the service was THAT bad... October 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Great Hotel For Heathrow I had a fantastic stay here the service from start to finish was fabulous. From the welcome glass of wine on arrival and room upgrade to the map with directions for places to eat nearby all expertly given by the most helpful Sonia. The Price was unbeatable too. This hotel will definitely be my choice of stay whenever I am in the area again it is also handily served by several free buses as it's within the free bus travel airport zone and it only takes a few minutes to Heathrow Central Bus Station for Heathrow Terminals 1-3 so most convenient too. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Recepcion personnel should more receptive Reception personnel is riding on the wave of higher demand times and should be more receptive . When the tide turns clients will have more choices and will certainly think twice before considering this as a lodging option. Personnel in the restaurant area were more customer oriented and friendlier.Room is very small ,uncomfortable for a business traveller that has to turn the room into a temporary office. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but a bit noisy We stayed for one night before an early flight. Hotel staff were polite and helpful, hotel is a little tired in places but not bad. Room was clean and comfortable, the only problem was the noise in the corridors outside the room. It may have been some loud people but it seems that the room doors allow all the noise from the corridor into the room. I was repeatedly woken up by people walking past. October 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn: the hotel where you feel at home Holiday Inn Hotel was the place that gave me the feeling of finding myself at home, while enjoying the excitement of being a globetrotter every time I was leaving the room to discover the city and coming back "home" after a crazy day. The staff is friendly, very helpful, smiling, natural, professional. My 5-night staying was excellent: the rooms are clean and welcoming, the breakfast is FANTASTIC! When you leave the hotel, especially in the morning, you can see the planes taking of and landing at Heathrow Airport. Also, it is very easy to get from the hotel to the airport, to the tube station, the bus station is opposite the hotel.... The room was in the back of the building, meaning no noise was to be heared from the road or Heathrow Airport. The front desk associate was exceptionally helpful in drawing me maps on where to catch a necessary bus and where I might find restaurant facilities outside the hotel. I ended up eating my evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The food was average and expensive, but the service was excellent. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked properly. There was some noise from the nearby road and airport, but it was minimal and did not disturb my sleep. Best of all, I made the reservation easily on the IHG website and got a great online rate. I would have rated this hotel higher if it hadn't been for the exorbitant charge to use wifi (10 pounds!!). October 5, 2013

The rooms need to be refurbished fully including bathrooms, beds etc. The bar area and reception is well appointed and the staff are friendly. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OVERALL COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE This was the third time we stayed here during this overseas holiday as it is so conveniently located to Heathrow Terminals. We had also stayed there in 2011. Our overall experience was exceptional. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The reception staff were excellent at making us feel welcome and even to the point of remembering us from the previous visit. Dining Room staff were also very attentive and the meals were delicious and the choices were varied. We would most definitely stay there on our next trip to London, no problems at all and would also recommend the hotel to friends September 28, 2013

The price seems just right for the high level of cleanliness, the natural modern design, and the exceptional care of the staff. The walls and the matress were a bit thinner then I like, but neither caused me trouble. Overall I highly recommend it as a great place to stay near the airport. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by basically a flop-house, dingy and not a good value Building is a circle, and room shapes reflect that. The inner part - pointy part of the pie - rooms are REALLY tiny. There is no place to put clothing away! Closet is about 7 inches deep - no kidding. No iron. Carpet is stained and dirty, as are the walls. Bed is a single thin mattress, no box spring. Walls are paper thin. I could hear there cell phone vibrate from the guy in the next room, not to mention all his conversation and other noises. Get the picture? Flop there if you absolutely must, but there are better options in the area to be sure, especially given the price. Oh, and internet is 16.99 pounds per day! You gotta be kidding. September 23, 2013
