Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Budget quality for budget price Room 175 is just big enough to swing a cat in, as long as its a small cat. There is a massive fan unit out side the window that kicks in around 10pm until 6am. The restaurant is well over priced, I stayed two nights first night I ordered an ultimate classic burger with fries. It took around 40 mins to arrive although the place was empty, i guess they good be doing room services. On arrival the burger was on par with a McDonald's cheese burger and fries but 4 times the price at £15. The second night I ordered a rump steak, again I was waiting in excess of 45 mins, The steak was nice but well over cooked considering it was requested medium to rare and the portion of chunky chips consisted of 9 average size chips. On checkout agreed discounts where not applied to my bill even though the rate was booked through SAP and had to be refunded back to my card. I guess overall you get what you pay for and I will be cancelling my next two stays in august (3 nights and 4 nights) May 11, 2014

This is hotel is fantastic on value for money, great dinner, and the staff throughout the whole hotel displayed fantastic customer service, which a lot of large companies fail in very badly. From the very first moment you step into the hotel you are greeted by staff that make you feel so welcome. The rooms are totally outstanding, the food is totally outstanding, the service you get at the bar again totally outstanding. For guest that can not drink UHT Milk like myself all i had to do was to ring reception can fresh milk was delivered to the room. Holiday Inn London Heathrow Ariel is the only hotel now that i will stay at when i am in the London or Heathrow area as it is a totally outstanding hotel. All the hotel are so friendly and General Manager is always on hand if there is a problem but believe me you shouldn't have one as it is such a great hotel May 10, 2014

The staff were excellent of letting me back into the room to grab the forgotten item. The staff of the hotel made my stay very relaxing and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to stay at heathrow. May 9, 2014

Shuttle was an extra 8 pounds (round trip) which was not stated. No free minutes of wifi. Breakfast buffet was extra. May 5, 2014

All my queries were answered and dealt with rapidly, The gentleman called Akhtar is a blessing for any employer. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Holiday Inn Ariel The room could only be described as a box room. Small desk chair. The bed was situated under the window and as a result there was a constant cold draft making sleep difficult. Room service meal was again tepid and all hotels really need to figure out how to get a hot meal to the room. Covering it with a tin tray does not work (have you considered warming the late?) Why does the mangoo chutney taste of metal? The room hardware (doors and furnishing) looked tired. I will not be staying at this venue again. ....sorry, but you did ask. April 27, 2014

Relatively quite expensive and the access and corridors are in a poor state. Food was both expensive and not special. Good enough for a quick over night stay not really intended for longer visits I feel. Please note that there is a public bus stop not far from the doors with a service every few minutes from Heathrow which is free (rather than the hotel hopper bus) April 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal Location - Exceptional Customer Service I have stayed at this Hotel on a number of occasions over the years and it remains my Number 1 choice for the Heathrow area. Firstly, the location is perfect with easy access to the LHR and plenty of good public transport links within a few minutes walk. The hotel pricing structure is exceptionally competitive for the Heathrow area and the hotel is very clean, well maintained and with good rooms. The hotel is relatively small (compared to many of the others nearby) although this makes it feel much more homely and personal. The hotel is somewhat of a landmark for it's unique circular shape. The primary reason that I continue to use this hotel (and why I recommend it to others) is because the customer service afforded to guests is quite exceptional. The staff could not be more professional, helpful and courteous. I stay with IHG hotels all over the World and the staff at this hotel surpass the levels of customer service that you would expect. I think it proper that I name 3 members of staff who reflect these comments in full - Anna and Tracey (Bar and Restaurant) and Jade (Reception). I really hope that your management recognise your hard work. I rarely feel the need to single out staff in my reviews - however, the reason for my repeated business is purely because of the great customer service which I always receive. April 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value Heathrow Airport hotel I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions & whilst a few years ago it was only acceptable it is now one of the best 3 star hotels close to Heathrow Airport (& within the free London buses area for journeys to/from the airport) & represents good value for money. One can use the Hotel Hoppa service direct to/from the airport terminal but this costs around £8 return and I always prefer to stretch my legs & get one of the red buses to/from the Central Bus Station which are free as far as the bus stop outside the hotel. On this occasion, Good Friday, Jade was working on the Front Desk/Reception when I arrived & I was greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Jade also immediately recognised my IHG Rewards Platinum status. Having completed the check in process, she checked whether there was anything else she could help me with & also gave me an Easter egg, which was unexpected but appreciated. After a long journey, it is always good to be welcomed in a professional friendly manner & Jade always achieves this. I prefer the rooms with a double bed for sole occupancy rather than one of the single bed rooms; I find the single bedded rooms slightly claustrophobic but the double bedded rooms , in particular the Executive rooms on the third floor, are very pleasant. The room was well maintained & clean. The double glazing is very effective & I have never been bothered by external noise (from the Bath Road traffic or planes landing & taking off). Whilst I did not eat in the restaurant, I did have a drink & food from the bar which was of a good standard & much better priced than some other Heathrow airport hotels. The Holiday Inn Heathrow Ariel is well positioned at Harlington Corner on the Bath Road & only a five minute bus ride into the Heathrow Central Bus Station. The rooms are normally well priced & most importantly I always get a good night's sleep when at the hotel. April 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just right after a long flight We used the Holiday Inn Ariel after a very long flight from Australia. We arrived early evening and checked in immediately. We felt hungry and went to the bar and ordered a light snack. That was delicious. After a really good nights sleep it was time to leave but not before enjoying a full English breakfast. Staff in the restaurant were very good ensuring we had all we needed. Plenty of tea and coffee!! Checkout was just as straightforward as the check in had been. Thank you Holiday Inn you completed our holiday and I would tell anyone flying from Heathrow to use this hotel. April 24, 2014

The rooms are clean and comfortable, guaranteeing guests a good night's sleep. Breakfast is a treat with plenty of choice. We look forward to our next visit and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. It's convenient for Heathrow and for spending a few days in London. April 23, 2014

We had to return our rental car, and the girl at the front desk told us how to get back to the hotel on the free bus, rather than using the Hoppa. Considering how close we were to the airport, the room was quiet. Will stay here again the next time we fly in or out of Heathrow. April 21, 2014

Jose at the front desk was extremely helpful in getting me into my room early, helping me use the free bus zone to get into the city and using the front desk computer to check in for my flight. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality and Exceptional Value Highly recommended. Comfortable beds and all the usual facilities included, 3D TV, Tea & Coffee facilities, Bath & Shower. Very clean and modern. Reasonable rates. I took the London Marathon Package and cannot recommend it too highly. Excellent pre-race breakfast and goodie bag to take out and a stress free trip to the start line. The perfect preparation for the Marathon. Only negative point is that there is no Free Wi Fi...in this day and age ???? April 18, 2014
