This is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. However, if you pay £10.00 for the Internet, it only allows you to hook up one device to the Internet. Between myself and ,my daughter we have two iPhones, an iPad, and two laptop computers. It's just wrong to expect me to pay £50.00 extra for Internet for 24 hours.
Breakfast was typical full English with beans, etc. the bacon was tough and chewy.
The best way to get here from the airport is by free bus. The front desk said it would only be a £5.00 or so by taxi. If you leave from terminal 4 (Delta Airlines), its more like £18.00. If you're coming here by way of the Piccadilly line, get off at terminal 1,2,3 and take the five minute free bus.
Priority Club benefits were pathetic... Just a card giving you 10% off meals.

Great location, quick ride to airport. We enjoyed a good meal in the resturant and a good nights rest.
For as close to the Aiirport as this Hotel is there was no noise from the planes .

The desk clerk who checked us in was extremely courteous and pleasant. He recommended several local restaurants, one of which even sent a car to pick us up and bring us back at no charge. It was excellent.
Further, he suggested we hire a local car service to bring us directly to "departures" at our airline terminal, rather than wait around for the long public bus ride to the terminal drop- off. It was well worth $1.50usd. more than the bus trip.

Just an overnight stay but a welcomed relief from airplanes. Room was awaiting us. Comfortable accommodations and the restaurant was quite good. Staff most accommodating and friendly.

Really great location for the airport, fifteen minutes by shuttle bus to Heathrow terminals, excellent service, good sized rooms, very comfortable environment and would definitely stay here again when using Heathrow airport, made my journey much easier. Thanks for a great stay.

The porter Eugene was excellent, we had a lot of luggage and a young child in a stroller, he was very gracious and helpful.
The room was adequate however I did not like the lighting system where you have to put your card in the slot for light, this meant you either have total darkness or lights on.
I was very pleased to get a free breakfast and the food and service was very good.
Having just stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in down town London the price (I was able to prepay) was excellent. I usually travel in Canada and North America and have been unable to get such a good Holiday Inn at such a good price.

Arrived after long flight, checked in at 21hrs. Reception staff were very helpful to us tired travellers. After a fresh-up went down to the Bar for a relaxing Pint & G & T. Room was OK, both had good sleep. As we had to depart early we did not take breakfast in Hotel. Good location close to Heathrow with Hopper bus service to and from although we did not use that. Reasonable tariff and would recommend this Hotel. Am not a Priority Club Member.

We make it a point to stay at a hotel near Heathrow the night before our departure from England. This time we stayed at Holiday Inn. The hotel hopper from the airport stops here so it was easy coming and going. Having used rail for transportation we took the tube from Kings Cross to Heathrow. The staff was great and rather than eat in we walked to a local pub down the road for a few pints and pub food. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Next morning omelets to order and a great variety of breads and breakfast options. he breads were fresh and good! We will stay here again, enjoyed the whole experience.

I will recommend this hotel to others who are interested to stay in London. Even though it is not in central London, it was not difficult to take public transit to and from the hotel. Very comfortable hotel for the price. The internet booking price was within my budget and hotel qualities met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you Holiday Inn!!

The room was small but comfortable. The staff was very courteous and always anxious to help. We were there three nights and were very pleased with the experience. Very convenient to Heathrow which gave us access to the underground and bus terminals. Good choice for us.

One night staff at the Holiday Inn Heathrow airport while in transit (week day arrival at the hotel around 8pm with departure the next morning around 10am).
As a Platinum Member spending scores of nights with Inter-Continental Group hotels, I expected better.
I was not acknowledged as a Platinum member.
Staff (especially Georgina at check in on the night shift) were often abrupt in responding to requests.
I did NOT ask for or receive an upgraded room. However, as a frequent / (premium?) guest, I would have expected to have received one of the better rooms in the category booked. The room I was checked into was in a lousy location on the corridor; far from the desk, while yet in a heavy traffic area. Noise insulation was less than satisfactory, seemed like I could hear every footstep in the corridor.
Staff in general appear disinterested with their work. This is an observation of the front desk staff on both the evening and night shift as well as the restaurant staff on the morning / breakfast shift.
In terms of staff and property quality, the Holiday Inn Heathrow @ Bath / Sipson would give motels a run for their money. For their price point though, they are a lousy deal!

We received good value but: the included breakfast buffet food quality was so-so and wasn't replenished adequately, the breakfast servers ignored us, the breakfast room was noisy, the guests in the next room were noisy until midnight when I went to their door to ask them to be quieter, the front desk staff could have been much more helpful with local transportation - the U3 bus to/from Heathrow is free, they suggested the Hoppa Bus or taxi. I wanted to pick up a rental car at Alamo- they didn't know where Alamo was located and made no effort to find out- they suggested a taxi. Later, I found out Alamo was a modest walk (less than a mile) away. There is much room for improvement.

The location is great for an airport layover. Even though our room was right on Bath Road and across from the airport, it was very quiet. Having a restaurant on premises is always a plus when traveling and there is also a pub around the corner.
Georgia at the front desk was super. She answered all of my questions with a smile. We were treated like friends. We will stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. We were flying out of Terminal One, Heathrow Airport the following morning. Usually fly out of Gatwick, but flight has changed. Checked in before returning our rental car and the staff were very helpful giving us directions to the closest gas station and our auto rental company. Room was nice and clean. Very quiet. We ate in the bar and again the staff were very friendly. Nice meal. We will stay again on our next trip to UK.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was extremely helpful and even gave us an upgrade as it was my husband's birthday along with two free drinks in the bar to celebrate. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Arrived late to find that for some strange reason our room had been upgraded! Wow - the first time in years - and I'm not a business man type in a suit! Really nice to know that you upgrade 'ordinary' people on a airport stop over. Genuinely appreciated. Room was great. Even though it was at the front and airport side, it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was very pleasant and was not the sometimes rush and over-crowded holiday-inn breakfast. Plenty of space, and the staff were attentive and helpful.

Experience marred by there being two Holiday Inn's with 'Simpson' addresses #Road & Way# how is a traveller supposed to know that?
Not helped by the fact that when you have arrived at the wrong Simpson late at night by the airport shuttle, a taxi driver who is aware of the mistake is on hand - to take your money.
You are charged for internet access after 30 minutes which is unreasonable and exploitive.
No recognition for being a Priority Club Gold Member.
Otherwise staff and accommodation were great!

An easy to find hotel with ample parking, we stayed here to visit Legoland and Chessington and found it to be a great location, just a shame we didn't get time to see aeroplanes as we were directly opposite the airport. The room was immaculately clean and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfasts were plentiful and enjoyable, however the buffet in the evening was a little dissapointing, even though at £19 it was good value for money, the food was excellent quality but lacked vegetables which was a shame as the other dishes were great. The room was very quiet on the back of the hotel but friends on the front still said they were quiet, I would highly recommend this hotel

A very good choice for arriving or departing Heathrow. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped and well serviced. Food is good, particularly the buffet during the evening dinner service. All the staff encountered were obliging and courteous without being over attentative. The only downside is the cost of parking, but being so close to Heathrow and with parking at a premium I guess it is inevitable.

Chose this hotel as it is close to airport and car rental returns. Although located directly on the A4 the soundproofing in the hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and of reasonable size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to stay overnight before or after a flight. Be careful that you find the right Holiday Inn as this one is on Sipson Way and there is another Holiday Inn on Sipson Rd only one mile away.

I didn't really know what to expect, but past stays at Holiday Inns elsewhere prepared me for less than what I got. The room was fresh, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for my one night stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. The shuttle from the airport is my biggest bugaboo. I expected a free shuttle and went to the tourist desk to find it. Turns out it wasn't free. Not being familiar with the airport or area, I paid the 16 pounds for a roundtrip ticket for two on the shuttle. Seemed like a lot of money to me, but nothing else was offered. The shuttle takes guests to a number of hotels in the airport environs. Our Holiday Inn is the first hotel outside the airport exit, but the shuttle went to the end of the line first and dropped us off last. That was annoying. To pay 8 pounds each for such a short distance added to the annoyance. Then I discovered from the reception desk that a free bus (the U3) runs regularly to and from the airport with a stop very close to the hotel. It's the first stop out of the airport and just a short walk to the hotel. Live and learn.

We found the hotel staff very efficient and obliging. The room was excellent value for money, the beds were very comfortable a and the staff could not have been more attentive and the hotel is very conveniently situated for Heathrow Airport.
