Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great weekend overnighter This is the ideal type of accomodation if you need to spend a night near Heathrow on a weekend. Weekend rates are very attractive. The room was pleasantly similar to Holiday Inn rooms anywhere in the world. Cleanliness was spectacular. The desk area was ideal. Having the 30 minute free internet access was a great feature, as this is all you need to keep in touch. I didn't try the faster/longer Internet service. Food, drink and the pub/restaurant area were also good and made it real easy to get together with other people. October 22, 2012

The staff was very courteous and even took the time to find which terminal we had to go to the next morning and which shuttle to take. The room was very clean and had everything we needed - the price was good too. I would not hesitate to stay there again. October 20, 2012

I wish we would have stayed here on our way thru instead of the tiny, dirty, expensive hotel we choose in downtown London. We would have been better off staying here & cabbing downtown for the evening. I thought it was a great value! The rates were really reasonable, rooms were super clean & very roomy & comfortable, the lounge downstairs was buzzing for a Sunday evening. The staff was very pleasant & accommodating. This is not a complaint but a suggestion for the chef to ensure food is hot rather than luke warm. October 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what you expect from a Holiday Inn! This is a great location, probably one of the closest hotels and Holiday Inn to Terminals 1,2,& 3. I would suggest using the Free London buses to and from the hotel as the Hoppa bus takes overly long. Good food choice and reasonably priced, just your average London hotel prices. Service was great too and the room and hotel was spotless. Free 30mins Wi-Fi was a bonus as you expect to pay for everything in European hotels. oh! yeah loved my goodie bag for being a Gold Priority Club member. October 16, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wish I had stayed somewhere else The best thing about this hotel was the bed which was comfortable and the sound dampening was good. The shower was a disaster. The temperature control was so sensitive that a minute adjustment resulted in a large temperature swing. It was either too cold or very hot. I expect much better from Holiday Inn. Worse though was the non-chalance of the front desk staff when I mentioned it; one of them found it amusing....I certainly did not. Given the isolated destination of the hotel vis-a-vis off site restaurants and our lack of a vehicle, we had both supper and breakfast in the hotel. The level of service was poor and the quality of the food was also poor. There was an 'American Night Buffet' that included such delicacies as hotdogs and hamburgers. I had a piece of steak I could not cut. When I complained to the waiter he was not concerned. The deserts were good though. We had the breakfast buffet; a mistake. While there was an omlette stand set up there was no one present to make them . The bacon was cool and tough. We were served coffee that was cool not hot and were not offered any refill even though there were less than 10 diners in the restaurant. It has been a long time since I have seen such a poor level of service. In summary, this place was easily the worse Holiday Inn i have stayed at. October 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best airport hotel we've ever stayed in! We spent 1 night here between flights and were impressed with all aspects of our stay. The check in was easy , we were able to quickly book a taxi for the morning, and the elevator a few steps away took us quickly to our room. The room was clean, bright, and welcoming. We found complimentary water, cookies and a chocolate bar which really hit the spot. The bed, bedding, and pillows were excellent. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed as travelers between flights and without luggage. After our wakeup call we enjoyed a full buffet breakfast including freshly fried eggs which allowed us to start our long day home filling full and satisfied. We would highly recommend this hotel. Its such a shame as the location has so much going for it.....However would stay again I was looking for a base in Heathrow and hoped that I'd found it in this hotel and it could become a second home. Given the simple errors and some pratices that are not akin to an airport hotel this will not be the case :-( October 13, 2012

You stay at a hotel expecting that the hotel would give some consideration for mistakes they made that caused you major discomfort. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mini Gym & Internet Access The actual room and cleanliness was satisfactory but I had a real problem with the pay for Internet Access policy, expecially for Priority Members. Many of your visistors are business travellers who need internet access to conduct business. It seemed like this was a hidden charge (TAX) that was not expected. Even though it was not a huge amount it is more about the principle of the matter. I will stay at a competitor if ever in this area again. As for the MINI GYM it is as advertised, needs better dumbells (really plastic ones?). October 5, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lovely getaway My husband and I wanted a night away, and so we chose this property, and how pleased we were to have done so. The desk staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and our room was superb. Dinner was delicious and plentiful, and we had a marvelous, restful night's sleep - hard to believe we were so near one of the busiest airports in the World. Highly recommend it even if you're not flying anywhere the next day - it's just a nice place to stay when you need a night away. The one thing they didn't have that we missed was a pool - it would have been lovely to take a swim, but hey, you can't have everything. October 3, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room Shower was poorly designed The bathroom design was very poor. The shower door was the type that only was meant to cover half of the bath tub lenght. The problem is that the door would not shut. As such the entire bathroom floor was drenched. Everytime I walked into the room my socks got wet even though I was wearing my slippers. I would have changed rooms, but I was only staying for one night in order to catch and early flight. This is the only Holiday Inn facility where I have encountered this type of issue. The restaurant service was also very poor. The servers seemed to be poorly trained or just indifferent. Even after asking for the bill I had to wait about 15 minutes. I eventually walked over to ask for the bill a thrid time. Overall very poor location when compared to other Holiday Inns. Next time I am in the London area I will stay at another hotel that is close to the airport. Also the phone in my room was not working and the wake up call came in the form of a knock on the door. I appreciated this. The front desk staff was very good and professional. The food and beverage staff along with the facilities staff needs more training. I would say that Housekeeping should have noticed that the shower door does not stay shut and that this would cause the floor to get extremely wet with no where for the water to drain. I usually to to England twice a year on business. This time I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Aylesbury, England (great experience) and the Holiday Inn in Heathrow (which was a very bad experience). Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bathroom etc. Temperature of hot water was high enough for me to enjoy bath which is one of the critically important elements when travelling. Although towels looked a little tired, still they were clean with no problem. It would be better if hair dryer was equipped. I enjoyed breakfast , too. Bed was also comfortable. October 1, 2012

This Holiday Inn was clean, easy to use and a good value - even have WiFi for you to use as well. If you have an early flight out of LHR - this is a good find. Also, you can take the U3 public bus for free to Heathrow Central Terminal to get the Tube into the City or to get to your flight - couldn't be easier. September 30, 2012
