Very comfortable; helpful staff at reception frederico and eva, theyre nice and kind. Pool bar area the manager there and the pool attendant the lady attendant there but l forgot the name. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a wonderful Dreamwork Experience in Holiday Inn I stayed in the hotel for one night and the purpose of my stay is solely to let my kid meet the Dreamwork characters like Kung Fu Panda and Shrek. It is very disappointing that the poolside activities (meeting the characters at the swimming pool area) were cancelled due to bad weather. In fact the rain stopped at around 5pm and the swimming pool at Sheraton Hotel was open, but the swimmming pool of Holiday Inn was still closed and the poolside activities were not rescheduled and the hotel did not arrange the activities to be held in the indoor area instead. What's the point of spending HKD3000 a night at the hotel if I can meet the characters in the public area (an indoor garden in the hotel) together with those who need not pay a penny? Last but not least, for the breakfast with the characters, while the main characters of Madagascar and Shrek were pesent, only Po was there but no Tigress, Shifu, etc, which added my disappointment. I would not join the programme next year, but just pass by the hotel to meet the characters which is a totally free of charge activity. September 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Choice I stayed in lots of Holiday Inn in China and this one was the best. The staff at the counter, conceirge, lounge & bar, swimming pool or SPA are very pro and firndly at the same friendly, also very helpful when asking for info. Fluent in Chinese, Cantonese and English, communication is not an issue. Room are great as usual and we really enjoy our stay. Location is also a positive aspect: you can reach The Venetian by using bridge between both shopping areas. In 5-7mins you can reach Venetian Casino very easily. Regards to the breakfast, location is in the shopping areas that you have to cross, a bit chaotic to find so don't go there in bathrobe! The opening of chinese one until 14:00 is definitively a must since Casino's evening may end up really late. Unforyunately the western breakfast is open until 10 or 10:30 so rather early for Macao time... I'm sure to come back again very soon! September 3, 2013

The room is clean so are the beds.This is the only hotel where you can choose between a soft or firm pillows.This is outstanding .From the door man to the reception all the staff are very friendly,helpful and always with a smile.Good location,many branded shops and nice restaurants beside the casino.There is also a free shutter bus service to other places. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD VALUE Pleasantly surprised with the grandeur of the hotel having stayed at most of the brands on offer the holiday inn was up there with the more expensive hotels. Only one drawback is the school holidays when in Macau there is a lot of extra people to factor in. Having left Hong Kong and then going to Macau we thought being gold elite they might have offered us the breakfast package as we where in Hong Kong but no extras or any other entitlements other than the room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Huge place and courteous service Enjoyed it quite a lot. Had gone there to attend the ASH ( American society of hypertension 2013) conference. The showers are a class apart. Thy drop different words and different images as water droplets . Look carefully and its amazing. The amount of beauty in showers and colourful imaging was also excellent. Unfortunately vegetarian Indian food is something their chefs are not good in. Eating was a pain over here. August 28, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Many confuse Many staff are confusing what include the hotel package selling, for example: didn't know have a free wifi include in the package and said need to pay, after show it the package including and then said no need to pay; have the late check out at 2:00pm, the staff said didn't have and need check out at 11:00am, show it again the package include and say haven't booking on the official site and give the late check out maximum time is1:00pm. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel for a weekend getaway Hotel is in a huge complex with two other hotels, Las Vegas style. Service is quite friendly and attentive. . Check in was not as smooth as I expected but acceptable. Rooms are smallish but very clean. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is clean. Lots of choices to eat within the complex but a bit pricey and ok food. Probably better to go to downtown Taipa and eat at the local restaurants. Gym and pool are not spectacular but adequate. Overall a good place to spend a getaway weekend. August 28, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The best Holiday Inn I have stayed at As my fiancé works in the airline industry, I travel regularly. The beds are luxurious and extremely comfortable. I very much appreciate the generally, high level of cleanliness kept by the housekeeping staff as well as the plus of having a separate bath and shower in the guest bathrooms. The hotel has lovely outdoor swimming pools although considering their are no lifeguards on duty, I felt rather uncomfortable with so many staff members watching me at the pool side. Another negative for me here, was the very small area in which smoking was allowed. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I would look forward to staying again. August 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by convenient and comfort, but not guess-friendly enough The location is good, and the shuttle service is fairly good, for it take you to a lot of places of Macao, from border to airport. Overall, it is a good place to stay, though the view isn't very good, you can see nothing but a construction site outside in the rooms of odd number . But the most annoying thing is that you will be charged even if you dial the local phone, and the fee is seven times of a paid phone outside. It is OK that the hotel charges such a high, but at least the hotel should ensure that the guests are well-informed of the charge, right? I cannot see any visible notes or reminders near the phone in the room. Therefore, i didn't know such a charge until I checked out. It is really annoying. August 16, 2013

It's good value for the price and there are a lot of amenities like swimming pool, gym, business center and shuttle service. It's really nice to have Filipino staff because you could feel there hospitality and warmth. We had a bad experience after we check out... we stayed in the 3rd floor... or 4th can't remember... in the ball room area because our flight was late in the evening. The old Chinese staff told us to leave the ballroom area...we don't understand Chinese but his hand gestures is pushing us away. Also be careful of their rewards program. I booked 2 rooms but I only got points for 1 room. I find this unfair because I paid for 2 rooms right? I sent a message to their website but they said it was in the fine print... who reads the fine print... it is so long!!! Had I known this I would have asked my brother to book the other room. The employees in the restaurant were unkind and did not speak proper english. I had breakfast coupon but they did not give me the correct information that i chose the regular meal and had to pay the whole price. Was about to complain but they pretended not to understand. Please choose other restaurant to provide breakfast service so i can recommend to others. August 6, 2013

The room was spacious for a family of four, the beds comfortable and bathroom neat with ample amenities. The pools (all 5 of them) were stylish and relaxing. The entire team of the hotel showed great hospitality and we would definitely return on our next trip. August 5, 2013

But in view of the general high standards set in Macao, and the corresponding higher room rates, the following disappointments followed : 1) Lighting and Ambiance of the public areas not conducive to relaxation ( a little dim ); 2) Front Office & Concierge Staff excellent in service & attitude; 3) Very disappointed when told that spendings in hotel F&B outlets do not count towards Priority Club Points (because outlets are out-sourced) - absolutely unacceptable. 4) Transport arrangements : Would be perfect if Hotel has transport links or arrangements that ferry guests to various Bus connections & terminals for those proceeding to the mainland. 5) Free shuttles not obvious at Customs Clearance point: For a first-timer Who would know what is Cotai Central ? We were looking out for the Holiday Inn signage - end up paying for our own Taxi. August 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Poor design of the pools We went down to have a swin in the morning on 22/7/2013, and the lady by the pool side doors told us to go left. And the lady on the left told us to go back to the right. It was very confusing to find the right entrance to the pool. (May be put clear signage or train your staff properly) There are quite a few pools outside but the sizes are not standard pool. Once you went in and start to swim, the deeper area is not wide enough to fit for two persons. The staris went into the pool are two wide and the shape of the pool doesn't help for laps either. I am not sure how you could improve this, the pool is difinitely is one of the criteria I would consider for future booking. (Winter time is good for renovation ?) Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and impressive rooms The Hotel's location is perfect as it is at the heart of the Cotai Strip, within walking distance to a lot of the city's featured places. The hotel's shuttle bus service from the ferry station is very convenient. At the hotel, there are plenty of staff at the reception to entertain the guests' needs and queries. They are very welcoming and helpful which is very much appreciated for tired travelers. The room we stayed in #Superior# was very lovely, with nice interior of modern style that is really impressive. And the view from the room during nighttime is awesome, the bustling night life that Macau can boast off. The added touch of a complimentary birthday cake for my son was really nice, not to mention their excellent room service. Overall, my family had a really pleasant and unforgettable stay at the Holiday Inn. August 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A place to relax When I need a place to stay to unwind for a day, I pick a place that's not too far from home, I choose Holiday Inn Macau Cotai Central. I choose this hotel for the staff and the service they provide, I often come straight from a long haul flight, and they are always prepared with a welcoming smile and my room key. They have taken the time to listen to my needs and ensure that I get the things that I need to have a relaxing stay. They have assisted me with getting tickets for the shows that I want to see, with great seats and tickets for the ferry home. This last visit was the same welcoming greeting with the friendly chat from Jesse and the room being set up ready for my family, it took a matter of moments to check-in. The Front Office Manager, (Roy) gives time to greet people and inform us about the new promotion that will be of interest to my son. The hotel have Shrek and other characters wandering around the hotel, to the delight of young and old. Whilst there is a casino attached to the hotel to occupy the adults, they have gone that extra mile and provided some great entertainment for the children and the young at heart. If you want something special then let them know in advance and they will do their very best to accommodate you. Every request is met with a smile, when they cant manage your request they give a reason so that you understand the situation. August 1, 2013
