Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Busy Place This is my third stay at this Holiday Inn. I think they have done a nice job updating the rooms and adding plush linens and towels. The tub was slow to drain but that was my only issue with the room. I go way off of the interstate to stay here but it really is not much of an inconvenience. When I walked into the lobby I saw large groups of teenagers and was really concerned that it would be loud. There was a birthday party in the conference room for a 15 year old with rap music being played but I was barely able to hear it in my room (keeping the a/c on helped). There was no noise in the hallway. I figure that they kept the adults away from the kids - THANK YOU. October 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place, Great price This was a very nice place to stay. The room was very cheap, which was hard to believe for what we got. The frontdesk was very quick, and polite. The bar staff was very friendly and recommended places near by. The entire place was very clean. I guess my only gripe is the hot tub wasn't very warm or relaxing. Just felt like a luke warm tub. If that is the only thing I can complain about though, that is fine by me. October 23, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid, if possible. If this was the last hotel of my two week trip I would have most likely vowed to never stay in a Holiday Inn again. Actually I did vow that, but ended up staying at a really nice one in Toledo. Seriously, there were times that I felt uneasy being at this property. It is right in the middle of the Ghetto, and you wouldn't believe the type of people staying there. Empty beer bottles in the Halls, stinky elevators, and a cold pool -- What's not to love, right? Unfortunately, I had to stay here three nights. I would never, ever stay again. Priority Club Memeber? Throw it out the window-- it means basically nothing. Jank, Jank, Jank. Definitely stay elsehwere off the highway. Do not stay downtown, especially here. October 17, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WON'T STAY HERE AGAIN Made my reservation (2 double beds) a week in advance of my stay. Arrived late that evening and checked in, upon check in I specifically asked the clerk if the room he checked me into was a 2 bed room, he said yes. Parked the car, unload my bags and go up to my room. Room only has 1 bed go back down and ask for a room that I had reserved. After some discussion he tells me they are sold out and don't have a double room left. Told me sorry, here's the managers business card he'll be in sometime in the morning. Arrived late, went to bed late, awoken early in the morning (7:30) by the beep beep beep of the garbage truck backing up to to empty the dumpsters...bang bang bang. Got up, hopped in the shower, only to stand in water from the slow shower drain. Packed up and left, didn't bother to talk to any staff! Think it would've done any-good? October 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent hotel, no so decent part of town The hotel itself is not so bad. The problem is the part if town it is in. The parking lot is around back and you have long walk to the front where the elevators are at. The restaurant was OUT OF POTATOES! How does that happen? October 5, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mansfield the hotel is in an old building but the room was clean and very roomy.....the tv was modern and the staff was great....I arrived late and ordered room service and the delivery was prompt and the staff was friendly and considerate. the only issue I encountered was getting there and getting back to the interstate as there are one way streets and its messed up ! Not the fault of the HI but still not convenient. September 10, 2013

Staff were not trained well and had trouble putting all parts of the stay together causing some problems. Not towels in the pool at times Breakfast different as only a $20 credit instead of NC like most Holiday hotels ex. Pocono Pa. Bill wrong as points not credited it was rectified in the check out but took time and Supr was not very friendly about this problem. But was dealt with in the final portion of the check out. Someone smoking and this came into the room and last night was not much sleep due to the fact I do have a problem with smoke especially Cigars & Weed. August 9, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best hotels From the time we arrived at the front desk, we knew this would be a fun stay - the entire staff was both soooo friendly and professional, a home town feel while staying in a city. The food was very good, a little pricey for a hotel, but we found it to be well worth the $$ for a nice meal; breakfast prices reasonable, around $6. Good happy hour items, esp the wings, among the best we've had ... and well poured drinks :-) The room was very quiet, no noise from people walking down the hall or above you. The only improvement to the room would be the a/c - rather loud when it kicks on, but cools the room really fast. The only slight inconvenience was the elevator being in the front of the hotel and all the parking being in the back, so alot of walking for all guests, but there is a covered driveway in front and luggage carts to use. The entire facility was exceptionally clean and well kept up with plenty of guest seating areas in the open area in the lounge/entrance, incl public computers/printers to use. We really enjoyed our stay. July 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Undeniably the best hotel in the Mansfield, OH area I have been staying here since the late 1980s. Spent my wedding night here in 1991, and since then have stayed many times. It may be in the best condition I have ever seen. Everything was like new during our July 2013 trip. Wonderful beds, decor. Only complaint was a slow shower drain, but I did not report it - they probably would have cleared it ASAP, but I did not tell the staff. LOVE this hotel, and the fact that it is full service keeps me coming back as well (great food service, lounge, etc.). July 6, 2013

The hotel staff worked to get the room cleaned so we could check in early. The only disappointment was the pool area, it didn't appear to be in the best shape, although the hot tub was closed for maintenance. It didn't help there were about five unsupervised kids who left a wet towel and sock outside the elevator. May 20, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Doors and locks unsafe accommodations. My first room had a lock that was not functional. I called as I arrived around 9:30 and said that I could not stay where I could not lock the door. They indicated they would send someone up. 10:30-11 I called again as I wanted to go to sleep...it had been a long drive. THey said they did not think maintenance was there (like this was never reported). Finally a wonderful gentle man (Erick I believe) came to my room and established the lock did not work as I had initially reported. He then got them to move me to another room. HE was fantastic and very appologetic. I moved to 608. There the key did not work for him. They asked him if the light was red or green? Really? He ran down and got another key and that night was good. The second day the key did not work and my collegue's keys did not work. Same with the third. When going by the front desk on Saturday I overheard the clerk say "there are no other rooms available tonight so we can't move you. Probably my first room with the unrepaired lock. Not sure why a large chain would allow such shoddy maintenance of their property. Locks are number one when traveling......said everyone! I was there for 3 days and the kleenex was gone the first day...no refill. small problem but bad impression. May 10, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Elevators Never Worked--Stairways Were Creepy The elevators never worked in the time we were there. Our room was on the third floor and we had to walk up and down stairs every time. The staff was nice enough, but they couldn't really do anything about the elevators. Everything in the hotel seems old and run down and the stairways that we had to use were very creepy and dirty--concrete unfinished. I was with two teenage daughters and it was very uncomfortable. Plus, the location of the hotel itself was less than desirable. The rooms have the old ceiling tiles in them, which also left us feeling uncomfortable. All in all, I would only stay here as the literal last possible choice. May 6, 2013

Also because of the limited counter space in the bathroom the coffee make was placed in one of the nightstands and I did not realize it until I checked out April 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff We were in town to attend a wedding. The staff was courteous and helpful. We had an issue getting into our room as our key card was not working. The front desk staff contacted Maintenance and they were prompt and helpful. The problem was corrected and we had no further problem. The only dislike we had was that we found the bed to be a bit hard causing us not to sleep as well as we would have liked. Other than that we had a good stay. April 12, 2013

I have always breezed thru check-in and utilize Rapid check-out. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are super comfortable. I enjoy eating breakfast in Park 116 and usualy have dinner there also. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Mansfield area. April 9, 2013
