I have spent many nights in numerous Holiday Inn properties all over the country and normally, they are very good experiences, if not great. But in the case of the Mississauga on Sheridan Way location, it was absolutely horrible. The room are terribly outdated and in need of repairs. Bed linens and curtains had stains on them (would hate to use a blue light on the linens.) Air conditioner was making a very loud whirling noise, couldn't use when going to sleep. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Internet was absolutely terrible, would disconnect constantly... for a business person who needs to work in the room, it is totally unacceptable. A couple of employees were ok but the impression when you enter and leave is one that makes you feel like you are welcome or appreciated at all, just ignored. I will never return to this location again and I would suggest the same for anyone else considering staying here. Like I said, most Holiday Inns are great, this one does not reflect the brand itself. A lot of small issues from keys not working after check-in, to slow, inconsistent internet, to a room service breakfast order not being processed led to an overall disappointing experience. The positive was the room service attendant providing great service on the evening of my stay with supper. He was superb. March 26, 2016
