Clean and fun game area. Pool is beautiful and clean. the patio facing the pool is a great touch and gives that " resort" feeling. Also the staff and housekeeping were very friendly.

The staff was outstanding and the indoor pool area was unique and breathtaking. Also, the simplicity of the location from the airport along with it's shuttle service allowed for me to easily access the hotel right after a long travel.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, and got NO sleep for 5 nights. First mistake was getting a room overlooking the atrium where other guests hung out all evening and were very loud - we had to blast our AC all night to drown out the noise ( we asked to be moved after night 1). After being moved far away from the atrium, it was still very noisy. People running around outside our room all night and the walls are very thin, so we heard everything from the other rooms. There was an ashtray outside our room, so people were hanging out outside our room at all hours.
Rooms are small with very tiny bathrooms.
We ate in the restaurant 3 times. While the staff was friendly, it was very slow and many items on the breakfast buffet were cold!
The lobby and pool areas are very nice, however, rooms are certainly not on par with the common areas of the hotel.
We had no issues with the staff.
We would not stay here again.

As I said previously the staff led by Sami and Jenny are absolutely outstanding. Customer service is their only concern. It is only because of them I stay at that hotel.
The breakfast could use some examination. I had eggs over easy but were hard. Bacon very chewy. Pancakes half like rock and other half done. Coffee cold. No scrambled eggs on buffet. disappointed.

If there is one thing i need to compliment the hotel about it is definitely on it's workers. They are so friendly and care about what makes us happy which makes our stay so much better. I do recommend this hotel and will be returning shortly.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel. The staff is very friendly and they care to make your stay a memorable one. The business center id very sharp, very nice and ease of work space. The pool area is one of the coolest decors i have ever seen. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good, clean, friendly, and entertaining Hotel.

I was down in Montreal for F1 weekend with my children and husband. What a great hotel this was. The service was very good, we were very well taken care of. The Pool area was great, such a nice decor. Even the water park for the children outside was great. The food at the hotel was very nice. We had a very nice stay and look forward to returning in the next year hopefully.

The man at the reception desk was excellent. He was very warm and welcoming to us.
The room was good. The vanity and sink fixtures outside the bathroom was a bit old looking and should be updated to look more modern.
My fiancé and I were planning on having a relaxing bubble bath in the bathtub for our romantic night, but didn't get to since the stopper in the bathtub did not work, so my fiancé and I didn't get to relax in a bubble bath as we planned.
The bed was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! We also got to walk around the atrium which was a nice touch.
Overall, the stay was good.

Very nice staff, take very good care of their clients. I was in town for a Business Conference and have nothing bad to say about my stay. The hotel is very clean, the conference room has everything on hand. The staff is simply great. I will definitely consider returning for a weekend gateway.

My intitial impression was ok. The first problem was air conditioning that didn't work. This was resolved when a maintenance man arrived and fixed the problem. He was efficient, polite and friendly. This was the good.
I had booked for two nights, June 6 and June 7. When we returned to our room around 8:00 p.m on June 7 our room had not been made up and the dirty towels had not been replaced. We called the front desk and informed them of the situation. A person came to the room with clean towels but didn't want to take the dirty towels. I put them in the hall and there they remained all night. It was too late to have someone make up the room. This was the bad.
I checked out on June 8 and once again informed the desk about the lack of room service and lack of interest by the man that brought fresh towels. The desk clerk didn't make any attempt to compensate me in any way. This was the indifference.
I will not be back.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and generally it is good value.
It is older with character, I will say that the hotel front desk staff is excellent.
This trip was possibly an exception, I waited over 30 mins after being seated in the restaurant for dinner with no waiter coming over. No water be provided nothing. Finally I walked out.
My room had a toilet that was running all night. Two calls for service and no one came.
The room was clean and the bed was excellent.
The pool was nice.
Need to put some cash into upgrading washrooms and training the dinning room staff
Did not recognitive my platinum level status at check in even though I booked through IHG

I did arrive late in the night for a business meeting, but I had reserved a king size bed online and received 2 double beds instead.
I was unable to go online due to not having an access code, but was not asked by front desk when checking in if I wanted access to the internet during my stay.
The room was OK for a older hotel but the room numbering was confusing (I even had other guest ask me where the room was).
Overall, it was a poor experience, a lot of little things made the stay uncomfortable

If i had one and only one thing to compliment this hotel about is definitely there service. They really take the time to treat every client with care and it is very appreciated. The pool area is also very beautiful, the decor is amazing. Food service also very good. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!!

- Upon arrival, found TV unplugged; had to climb behind desk to find power cord
- Plugged in and turned on TV - Showed "Downloading" and nothing else
- Maintenance guy came in and fixed it within 20-30 minutes
- Would also mention that bathroom is very small
- Also tub would drain slowly - water still in tub 10-15 minutes after shower - uggh

I had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn. I find the staff who work there are very friendly and did everything to make sure my stay was a good one. I asked for towels and more pillows and it was brought up to me in no time. The food room service was also good, I did not wait long hours to get my food like i have experienced elsewhere. The business centre is also very handy. Great for meetings and conferences. The room has everything you need. Great place !

My wife and I enjoyed our stay greatly. The staff is super friendly and polite. They took care of us from the moment we checked - in until the very last minute we checked-out. First room was lovely. Remodelled but no dead bolt on door. Since I was travelling solo I wanted extra security. Next room was not as nice and windows faced back parking lot where people where just hanging around. Next room was similar to second room (not great) but exhausted with only a few hours to sleep I showered (controls in shower were not attached tightly & no soap, cream or any other goodies) Crawled into bed. At 11pm neighbours arrived home and I heard every word of their conversation even though they were not talking very loud. At 1am when they were still talking, I called the front desk. They offered to move me AGAIN. Since I had only an hour and half before I was getting up any way I asked if I could get a refund and an earlier ride to the airport. All they could offered 10% back. When I went to leave, no break on the price. Being sleepless & fearful of breaking into tears again or worse saying something unpleasant to nice person at desk, I left hotel exhausted and furious. Not the best place for a night of sleep.

Wow what a disappointment. I have to echo other reviewer's getting to your room is a nightmare. "Go left, then right, then right again and then left." It was a maze.
This is a tired property inside. Corridors and rooms are not what you would expect from the Holiday Inn brand. There are walls with paint missing and carpets look tired and worn.
The room was not all that different. The throw on one of the beds had a cigarette burn. I am fairly certain that housekeeping supervisors/managers do not do spot checks as there are several deficiencies.
The front desk staff when I arrived were attentive only after dealing with other staff members (restaurant and I think a driver)
The atrium and pool area look inviting and were a pleasant surprise. It would appear that just outside my room in the summer is a water fun area for the kids.
I will say that the welcome gift for an IHG member is nice however it does not make up for the lack of basics for the brand.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, service is generally polite and efficient.
The rooms seem to be quiet wherever you are located, if there is much traffic in the corridors it is not noticeable and outside traffic is well isolated. The one annoyance is the cycling of the individual room heaters / air conditioners.
Pool and exercise room are not heavily used so access is not usually a problem.
I have stayed here several times and I have noticed that, over time, the in-room amenities seem to be disappearing. There used to be fridges in all the rooms I have used but now there seem to be more and more rooms that no longer have fridges. Also don't bank on having a safe in the room. There are safes in all rooms but most are locked and cannot be used!

Since that was my first visit at Montreal, I was impressed to find myself a very decent and affordable (personally and business wise) hotel in a very short period like two days prior. Sometimes I just don't have the opportunity to find or even book decent hotels if traveling to major cities specially on business trips with immediate planning.
So this particular Holiday Inn was the best choice in terms of convenience (very close to the airport and job site), pretty much everything I need was in the hotel itself , friendly and professional staffs willing to welcome my presence. The hotel's restaurant and bar just looked fancy and again the staffs were caring and attentive. I visited the bar almost every evening of my stay because it was that nice. Well there was something that did not quite fulfill me: the bar / lounge needed to be little bit more up beat. It should stand by itself in a separate room or building (but still annexed to the hotel). So they can play the music little bit louder just to arouse the excitement. Although a band stage area was near by the bar, I stayed at the hotel only during the weekdays. So there was no live band performing at the time. I wish I could stay there over the weekend to enjoy the live music.

Very friendly and corteous staff, rooms have been updated from my previous stay here.
However I had a very noisy neighbours that discussed their problems right at my door.
Good price for a comfortable and well located place close to the airport.
