She also let us change to a king room rather than a double room for comfort. II also asked for toothpaste and she was happy to help! Always friendly and smiling whenever I asked anything! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant experience I stayed at this hotel while we were visiting the nearby university. It was conveniently located to downtown attractions, and had ample parking. I had a problem initially because I was not allowed to change my "book early and save" reservation which I accidentally made. However, the hotel stay was very pleasant. The Italian restaurant turned out to be a seafood pub so they definitely need to change the sign, but the restaurant staff ,and the chef who came to check on my meal, did a superb job of being welcoming and providing a first rate dining experience. The crab cakes were delicious! My room was lovely and compared to competitor hotels, I loved that lots of nice clean lush towels were provided--this made all the difference. October 22, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Understaffed I've stayed at this hotel frequently in the past, and I was dismayed to see upon this visit that the excellent restaurant that used to be in the hotel is no longer there. I had a problem gaining access to my room, and because there was only ONE person on duty (and mind you this was in the late afternoon when many people are arriving and checking in#, it took over an hour and multiple trips to and from the front desk to finally gain access to my room. The college kid on staff who was working the front desk alone was apologetic, but offered no compensation for this inconvenience. My room was clean and spacious and fine except for the drapery, which were frankly rather gross #stained and covered in something gooey, to the point that I did not want to touch them to draw them closed in the evening). They need to try a bit harder, and they need to beef up their staffing. A hotel this large should have more than one person on duty during busy check in / arrival times. October 22, 2014

The facility was clean, well appointed and met my business needs. My room had a great floor plan and was quiet. The facility location was strategic for my travel needs and a great value.
