I was here for 2 nights and I had a great experience. the staff was very courteous, my room was clean and comfortable, the bar area was awesome as was the food and it had a very attractive lobby with a glass elvator.

I travel weekly around the country and end up in Phoenix about once a month for a week at a time. This hotel is not closest to the airport but is worth the drive.
The restaurant and bar food is amazing! Phoenix offers many great restaurants, but having the convenience to eat and have a drink without driving is perfect!
Stay for taco Wednesday!! Its the highlight of my week! I don't eat during the day and fill up on their $3.99 for two big carnitas in a chile verde sauce tacos. I will usually have several orders.
Their made in house pizzas are out of this world and very fresh! My favorite is the meat lovers.
For someone who enjoys a decent drink, their beers are cheap for happy hour and reasonable prices for a decent scotch and whiskey. The bar staff are always on par and great to converse with ! patty and neils do a great job conversing with customers and the chef who I have never met, takes great pride in his food and it shows in presentation and flavor.
Their seem to be two different styles of rooms, one has been upgraded and is more modern and the other a little older. The newer beds are very comfortable while the older ones I can usually feel the indent in the middle, but I am about 200lbs. The rooms are always very clean. The staff at the front desk always greet you with a smile and have a sense of humor. I have made very last minute trips and when their was an opening, they did an amazing job at getting me an early check-in so that I can freshen up before work. The area around the hotel is well, a little rough, But with everything you need inside the hotel I hardly venture out and the hotel quality is well above its surroundings in terms of quality. The price is on par for the hotel, in fact I say you are getting a great deal!
Come for the room, stay for the food and drink, enjoy great company from the staff.

The overal experience was bad, starting with the bad neighborhood, the lack of a speed check in or welcome bag, being a priority club gold member.
My room was dated, it had an empty cabinet for fridge and microwave, without either of them.
Ordered room service for dinner, the fish & chips, with black fries and a soft and smelly fish. The dessert, chocolate cake, was dry piece of bread, with whip cream, really bad taste, I could not eat it. Also, it was really expensive.
The next morning, with all my patience, I decided to give them a second chance and went to the restaurant for breakfast. The menu offered orange juice 100% pure squeezed, so I asked the waiter if that was true and the answer was that if I wanted fresh juice I had to go home.
Ordered pankcakes and they were raw.
I will never stay here again and will think about staying in another Holiday Inn in the future.

I stayed here to conduct a seminar and I must say that Dan in banquets took excellent care of the attendees and me. He anticipated and met every one of our needs. Veronica assisted him and she did a great job, too. Every one of your staff that I encountered was friendly, helpful, warm, professional, and courteous. The front desk person was truly delightful and accommodated my needs and answered all the questions I threw at her. However, you need to take better care of your facility. The carpets are terribly dirty in the sleep room and throughout the hotel. The bathroom in my sleep room was dimly lit and the fixture was cracked and needed replacing. There also was little insulation to block out the freeway noise. I'm sorry to say those things because your staff definitely knows how to give good customer service and I do not want my unfavorable ratings in some areas to reflect against them.

Most of the conveniences were average to very good. The reason for my overall excellent rating was the hotel staff. They were very pleasant and attentive. They genuinely cared about my stay.
