It's a value for the price and near the airport. It was central for our recent vacation, and very close to the highway. We got to experience a few different rooms, and they were all spacious.
I hope that this property only gets better with renovations that are under-way (lobby first), but it's great during the refresh. The best value in Rochester area, hands down.

I'm a Platinum member for many years, and stay at IHG hotels all over the world, and this hotel over 40 days this year alone, and I've waited this long to write this review, because I sent two letters directly to the hotel manager, w/ NO reply, as well as a letter to Corporate, and three attempts via the "customer care option", all w/ no reply: so here goes: tried to check in, room not ready until almost 6PM, no big deal, it happens, requested a room away from the expressway, and got a room right on the express way # was changed three nights later#, refrigerator was filthy, the security peep hole was "blacked out", therefore no security, stairwell C was filthy the whole time we were there, there were dirty cups, and trays left in the hallway for over three days, we ate the breakfast buffet on Sunday may 23, the eggs were cold, bacon, cold, sausage, cold, the room for Elite members was dirty, and most days no coffee, we were supposed to check out May 25, got our bill the day earlier, and had to settle that mess, our room was NOT cleaned 3 of the 8 days we were there: a blind person could see that this hotel is a mess, and my sense is that there is no management around, or they would have seen all of these problems, The front desk people did the best they could to address people's concerns # Flo is a saint !# because there people every morning in the lobby complaining about something: I'd strongly suggests staying somewhere else, in the future I will try another location. In summary, dirty, cold food, wrong room assigned, and ABSOLUTLY NO MANAGEMENT or they would have seen these problems

The place was dirty.....no soap, bathroom dirty, not enough cleaning staff.
People booked into rooms already occupied or not cleaned.
I stay in Holiday Inn hotels, Indigo, Express all over the country. Never been in one this bad.

We stayed in this hotel for graduation at RIT. Naturally, the prices were a bit high, but that is expected due to the demand. However, the cleanliness of the rooms was a true disappointment. Most notably, the pull-out couch had a dark black spot on it and smelled so bad that it was, essentially, unusable. The hotel staff seemed fine while there resolving a minor issue with the bathroom drain. However, we had an additional charge for the restaurant, which we never ate at. We are still dealing with hotel staff on getting this charge reversed. This hotel is the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed at and I would NOT stay again, even if it was free.

My primary displeasure was the condition of the room and furniture which were worn and dirty. The Bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Staff was friendly but common area in halls looked abused which gave the feeling of insecurity

More than reasonable price for a location near the Rochester Airport especially for an early morning flight out. Overall quality is very good.

- Wakeup call missed
- Shampoo missing 2 days in a row, conditioner missing the third day
- Bar charged for double drinks without asking
- Internet service out for ~1 day
- Breakfast staff was 2 ladies for an entire room of people
- Front desk staff rude
It was a good price, but I'd readily pay a little extra to have a better stay.

Upon check in there were no towels or soap or shampoo in the room. Front desk said they would have it there shortly (10 PM) at 9 AM still no towels. 2nd call to front desk didn't help. I tracked down a housekeeper
