Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 OPutdated Simple things are not taken care of: the clock in the room did not work. I know i wasn;t the first person to notice this. The bath tub faucet ran continuously. Easlily handled bu shutting the room - solving the noise problen, but not solving the actual issue. Simply put, this propoert is like a Holiday Inn from the 80's and not an Inigo. August 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rockland Holiay Inn This hotel is set back from a busy road where it is quiet and secure. Caution: You may have trouble making a left hand turn onto Hingham Road in the morning to due to heavy traffic coming off Route 3. Everything about this hotel was satisfactory. It was functional, clean and beds were comfortable. The hallways are an unusual shape of the number 4 instead of an "I" or "H". Once you realize that, it is easy to navigate about. The pool was pristine and a perfect temperature, the fitness room was in top shape with a TV right in front of the treadmill (no neck straining here). The food was excellent but the breakfast was not cost about $12 plus tip. If you want a less expensive breakfast, you'll have to go offsite. July 28, 2014

Can't control the heat. Room heats up after sunrise. Constantly adjusting the a/c unit to maintain temperature Big room but not enough furniture. Kind of weird! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Sales Department and Nice Rooms My wife and I worked with the Sales Department to set up a room block for guests of our wedding. We received excellent service from the Sales Department and enjoyed our experience with them. We would easily recommend them to anyone looking to reserve a block of rooms! The rooms themselves were nice. All were clean and fairly modern. Our guests enjoyed their stay. Extremely disappointed in one member of the front desk staff who gave my wife a hard time on our wedding day about an early check in that had been set up with another employee the previous night. This individual was very rude and extremely uncooperative towards my wife. I spoke with the a Sales Department about it and was assured this would be addressed. I did not hear anything back after that time. A black mark on an otherwise very positive experience. July 7, 2014

Highly recommend choosing this hotel if ever in the Boston south to Cape Cod area. The price and the comfort and the surroundings are a super value for the money. July 2, 2014

Did not care for the pillows in the room; too soft and was disappointed that there was no room service...Usually at the Holiday Inns I stay at the restaurant is open throughout the day and delivery to the rooms is not a problem...Great location.. However, I noticed that the hallway and stairs carpeting was maybe outdated or needed some thorough cleaning. The staff at the front desk was very helpful in helping to provide eatery options in the area. We stayed in for two nights, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, there was extra pillows and towels, etc., the restaurant in the second floor offers a breakfast buffet that is delicious and the staff is very friendly! We enjoyed our stay so much we are looking forward to our next stay. Boston is about 20 minutes away and it's easy access to the highways. There are other neighboring towns that are are close by too, but we loved Boston! June 23, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Discrepancy in nightly room rate I called to confirm 48 hours before my stay and I was told that I was paid in full at the time of booking as I had booked 3 months earlier When I arrived I was told not only had I not paid, but my rate went up $50 per night. The front desk person spoke over me and was not helpful at all. The manager stayed in the back room and after about 15 minutes and my requesting him to come out - he never came out, but shouted "give the rate." Breakfast order was hung on door but never picked up - so, now breakfast the next day. June 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surprisingly great food I've stayed at this hotel twice in the last 3 weeks. Let me say that the staff was friendly and accommodating from the start. Further, I had three meals here; one breakfast off the menu and 2 room service deliveries. The food was great! I recommend fish tacos, burger, and the pancakes. Only issue was a rattling air conditioner the second stay but it did not keep me awake. Bathroom clean (did find an dirty sock on the floor, but it was behind a chair, rather hidden-no problem). The rooms were quiet and I got good nights sleep without the usual hotels where slamming doors keep one up all night. On my next trips to the South Shore this will be the place I stay. May 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by room 316 Our stay was very nice. Our only complaint was the shower/tub was clogged in our room. It would fill up with black soot/dirt and it was too late to change rooms because it was the morning of checkout when we realized we couldnt shower. This wasn't our orginal room, but what was offered to us for an early check in. A little disappointing that after a night of drinking and dancing that I was unable to shower before my endless commute back to NH, but it was a comfortable nights sleep with probably the most COMFORTABLE pillows I have ever used in my life!! I travel extensively for business, and sometimes take for granted the stellar service I get at this Holiday Inn. That is until I stay someplace else, and learn to appreciate them all over again. I had the advantage of being in an upgraded suite which I thought was great I loved the openness of the room from the vanity area into the living quarters 2 comments: 1) Bathtub has inadequate shelves to place the smallest of shampoo and other accessories used in the shower ... my wife found it more problematic than me, but I still had to do a balancing act with your complimentary shampoo 2) while I thought that the lighting was excellent (compared to other facilities that I've stayed at), my wife wuold have liked to see a vanity mirror (on a swing arm) because the mirror was to far away for putting on her makeup ... I loved the L shaped counter I requested an email of my invoice (in addition to the one that was provided at the counter) but never received it Overall - a real quality room March 19, 2014

Pullout sheets were not change and found a bra hanging out of the sofa the first night - creeped me out. Received zero towels in our room the second day. Furniture was dirty, ripped and old. Staff and breakfast area were helpful and apologetic for mishaps. Not my best of stays at HI Express, but I guess it could have been worse. December 23, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good location (close to Boston) and very comfortable beds. Hotel needs to be updated though The beds in this hotel are very comfortable! The doors to the rooms should be replaced and some remodeling is needed. I feel like I stepped back to 1989 when I came into the hotel. Indoor pool would make it a much more attractive place to stay!
