Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shuttle bus experience I arrived after 12 hours of international flight to O'Hare International terminal 5. I called initially to ask for shuttle bus but after 60 minutes of wait, I called back and front desk person was very concerned and asked me to take a taxi and hotel would pay for that ride, which I declined as long as shuttle is coming. she took action immediately and kept me informed until shuttle arrived at Terminal 5 and she even recognized me at the front desk upon check-in and offered me a complemental breakfast for next day. I travell every week so, I am not upset at shuttle took long time, it does happen, but I wish every hotel does take care of problem as your staff. problem happens unexpectedly, how you recover is the true customer service. thank you October 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A busy hotel full of travelers I've stayed at this hotel a number of times. It's very convenient for me during my short trips to Chicago. The overall experience is normally B+ for an overnight hotel stay. On October 23, 2014 I checked in around 9 pm, was in my room shortly after and asleep by 10 pm in anticipation of a full day at a Strategic Coach workshop. At 11:20 pm the phone jarred me out of my deep sleep with the nice young woman on the front desk explaining that the card number stored on my profile was outdated, and she was correct. I rummaged through my briefcase, found the new card and all was well. Except I couldn't get back to sleep, tossed and turned and as a result had a very difficult time being sharp in my quarterly workshop. Why couldn't someone check with me earlier in the evening or the next morning? I've stayed at this hotel at least 10 times in the last couple years. I'm staying at another nearby hotel during my next workshop in January (I tried to name the hotel but the review system wouldn't let me calling it "inappropriate language.) October 27, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average room-weird set up I stayed only one night. It was a personal trip where I requested two double beds for two people. The room was set up to where there were two separate bedrooms but you had to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. It was awkward. Carpet was stained and appeared less than clean. The bed I had was sagging in the middle and not very comfortable. My stay wasn't terrible but fair at best. I won't be returning. October 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Clean, modern rooms I only stayed one night and really only used the room for a place to rest my head as we arrived at approx. 6 p.m., went out to dinner and returned to sleep. Got up the next morning and checked out early to eat breakfast offsite so I can only say the room was clean and quiet. I was worried about noise with the hotel being located near O'Hare and the room looking out over the front entrance. The only issues I had were the pillows are more like balls rather than normal size/shaped pillows. I did not request or look for other pillows - they may have provided different/better pillows if requested but the ones on the beds are small and almost round - not very comfortable - for me anyway. The other item was the bed. The bed in the main room (not in the room with the bathroom) was squeaky. Every time I would roll over it would make a noise and I wondered if it was bothering the person in the other room. Other than this the room was comfortable, quite and clean. I would return. Everyone (from shuttle bus driver, check-in clerk, cleaning staff) was friendly, upbeat, proactive, helpful, and professional. Holiday Inn must treat its staff well for everyone to be so positive. I had a suite at a budget price. The fridge and microwave allowed me to stick to my diet by having my own food. Kudos to Holiday Inn Rosemont. I'll happily stay again. October 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hotel for what we needed! Was in town for a conference and the Holiday Inn Rosemont was absolutely perfect for what we needed. As an IHG Plat, they assigned me a Boardroom Suite and the friends I was attending with were able to spend some time in the room and have some great conversations over room service! The staff are so accommodating, with the shuttle driver even making a stop at Target on their way to the airport. Only thing to be aware of: although the staff said Target was "across the street," it's actually a mile away! Take an Uber or Lyft for $5 more if you can't get the airport shuttle to drop you off - it's worth it! Thanks, HI Rosemont! October 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fast and friendly check-in I've now stayed at this location 3 times and will continue staying here as I attend workshops quarterly across the street. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. Although there was a small blemish on the carpet--no big deal. Wish they had more channels, but I'm spoiled to having MLB Network and Fox Sports 1 at home. Again, not a real big deal. Finally had my first meal at Harry Carey's. I had the bison steak and it was outstanding. A bit pricey, but great meal, and awesome service. Mark October 20, 2014
