The room was comfortable, clean and the dining area was well-maintained and the food options sufficient; however, the front desk staff was unprofessional and incompetent. Check-in and check-out was a nightmare. I booked a room with a king-sized bed and was given a room with 2 double beds. My sister booked a separate room, but someone my room and her room were booked under my credit card, even though both of our credit cards were given to the front desk clerk in order to pay the 2 rooms separately, November 21, 2015

The only issue was the location of the room which was right next to the side exit and ice machine. I just wish I could have had a room in a quieter location- especially given how empty the hotel was. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fan of Holiday Inn I am a big fan of Holiday Inn's. I find the beds comfy, rooms simple and nice and love that they always have dining on premises. This room was just ok. A little worn but not bad. The water pressure was horrible and I knew when someone nearby was taking a shower too. It was okay though. The restaurant made up for it. Was very nice and breakfast buffet was wonderful. Gym was simple but nice. Overall pretty good but the room was a little dreary and not as nice and clean as usual. November 17, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Holiday Inn You Want or Expect This property leaves a lot to be desired. From the inoperable exterior doors, room keys that don't work, rooms that are noisy, dirty and poorly maintained...well you get the picture. As a Spire Level member, I've seen the Good, the Bad and and the Ugly. This one is the Ugly one. The staff is fighting an uphill battle. They are the only bright spot here. I understand that this location is not 'in season' which to me means even more effort should be put forth to correct the deficiencies. Maybe I just hit them on a bad day but this one is a cautious selection. Buyer beware! November 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly, helpful Staff H.I. Rutland-Killington had a friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located in a beautiful area of Vermont. There is a very nice breakfast buffet with lots of choices. However, we booked this hotel as a relaxing getaway and neither of two hot tubs were working. If you have two hot tubs and both are broken wouldn't you make it a priority to fix them? November 5, 2015
