Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Rewards Member When we entered our room we were very, very disappointed to find an ugly green stain in the tub/shower. There was also what appeared to be a frayed and dirty shower mat in the tub/shower. When I called the front desk to advise them of my dissatisfaction I was told if I wanted to change my room I would need to come downstairs and stand in line. My wife and I were in the process of going back downstairs with all of our luggage when one of the housekeepers asked me if there was a problem. I advised her of my dissatisfaction and she offered us another room. We took the room and unpacked. When I went downstairs to advise the front desk of what took place the clerk told me "you have to stand in line". I left my "old room" card key and returned to my new room. After 18 hours of travelling I was tired and not going to stand I line for a new card key. On Sunday :(11/15/2015) when my wife and I went downstairs for breakfast there was a backed up sewer line that had resulted in an overflow of sewer water on the downstairs floor by the kitchen and restaurant. I chose not to eat at the hotel after that. On Monday afternoon (11/16/2016) I personally requested a wake up call for 200 AM on 11/17/2016. I saw the desk clerk write down my request. I advised her I had a 500 A.M. flight that I needed to catch and she assured me she would make sure I got my wake up call. On Tuesday morning (11/17/2016) I DID NOT get my wake up call as requested. We woke up at 240 A.M. (lucky for us) and threw everything in our suitcases. When we got to the front desk to check out we found the clerk laughing and joking with the security guard. When I asked her why she call us for our wake up call request she said ":there is no request for a 200 AM wake-up call". When I advised her that I had personally seen the clerk write down my request on the wake-up call sheet the clerk apologized and said she had not seen it. November 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ANGLICO Association Reunion: *** The Holiday Inn Downtown at the Market Square, provided a great room, and a great Hospitality room for the 2015 ANGLICO Assoc. Reunion that was held at the Hotel on Nov. 05 thru Nov. 8, 2015. Vanessa and LuLu both employees of the Hotel took great care on me and my Wife, and ALL of my Reunion attendees. The Restaurant food and service was excellent. The Friday evening Buffet dinner was outstanding. The Saturday night Banquet dinner was also outstanding. All of my Marine ANGLICO Assoc. attendees were very happy and satisfied with the experience that the Holiday Inn Hotel provided to me and my ANGLICO Association attendees. We will be coming back to the Holiday Inn downtown at the Market Square in the future. All of the employees are outstanding, and considerate to all of the hotel guests. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rough night I would like to start by saying that I like staying at Holiday Inn ( I am a Spire Elite Member with IHG) but this one needs some improvement. most of the staff were kind and attentive until I called about the AC in my room not working and the WIFI not working also. we also had trouble opening the door due to the handle not working properly. I asked to be moved to another room and was told that I could not be moved because I was only staying one night. they did say that they would send someone to look at the Ac but never did. they also said that they would fix the WIFI and again did nothing. Needless to say we had to sleep on top of the covers and still woke up several times sweating. We were there for a state competition and need the internet to get times of events and look at photos being posted but could not. November 10, 2015
