The stop here was my last night on a bicycle trip from San Francisco. All the other stops we stayed at the bargain basement motels with unformfortable beds, 2 pillows, a couple of towels, and no toiletries. It was a pleasure to spend the night here. A great bed, 4 pillows, a bathroom full of towels and toiletries.
We had to get up early the next morning to fly home. The night clerk was wonderful!

My first time at this property and more convenient than other hotels to get to the airport, Point Loma, and anything on Rosecrans. The staff was helpful and the breakfast special was fantastic. With the planned renovations, it will be even better.

We received friendly and efficient service from the staff. We were checked in without delay; the room was very comfortable; we ate at Point Loma Cafe several times, and each time the food was outstanding. We were there for a Navy ship reunion, and we were treated very well. The location was convenient to many restaurants and the harbor. We would stay here again.

W ehave stayed at the Holiday Inn Bayside many times now and we really enjoy our stay.
We have had to stay in other Hotels in the San Diego area but we always like to come back to the Holiday Inn Bayside.

I had my wedding there and the staff was wonderful to my self and my guests. They were able to accommodate my last minute requests. We had a 2 bed room for 2 nights and a very spacious suite for the last 2 nights. Rooms were very clean. I was able to access the business office to print out some papers. The laundry room was clean. Great view of the Harbor from my suite.

Came here with a few friends and originally booked a two bed economy room. Having Priority Club Platinum status with the hotel, the staff was able to accomodate a complimentary room upgrade to a two bed, sofabed suite. It was a Smoking room, but did not have a strong smoking smell to it. Upon arriving into the room, we opened the windows and sliding glass door to let the room air out. The room was clean and housekeeping was perfect. The only two complaints we had were the sofabed being uneven and uncomfortable. When fully extended, part of the bed "sank" causing to sleep at an angle. We remedied this by requesting extra pillows and blankets. Second complaint is not hotel related nor could be controlled by the hotel. There was an early trumpet wake up tune played by the naval ships across the street at 7am that was followed by an orchestra-like Star spangled baner tune. It was interesting and great to hear, but it woke my group up too early! Overall, i would stay at the hotel and recommend to others. It's convenient to many attractions and the airport.

Can't say enough about the staff at this Holiday Inn! Friendly faces and greetings that make you feel welcome. From everyone you pass in the hallways, meet in the gift shop, or main lobby---and then there's William! Ah yes, William,----no question too much to answer, suggestions abound for making sure your stay is eventful and fun!
Clean rooms, perfect wi-fi, pool, and other amenities more than sufficient.
Be aware that if you don't have a car, you must ask immediately upom arrival for the bus schedule. We didn't have knowledge of the local system until later in our 1 week stay, and could have saved a great deal of money spent on cab fare for trips to the S.D. Zoo, Sea World, Padres game, and USS Midway, just to name a few. Bus transit and trolley system is clean, efficient and easy to navigate.

we were there for the Cortron 3 reunion. the hotel handled everything very nicely- hospitality room, banquet, meetings, etc. our room was a bit small, but ok. good value.
