Had never experienced such poor management customer service skills , it clearly showcased this hotels immature stature and behavioral of their manager ( if she was indeed the manager As she claimed ). This hotel lied to me about availability of airport shuttle . I needed one @ 5.30 AM on the phone it was no issue , until I checked in and reconfirmed my 5.30 AM pick up time , only to be told they only begin @ 7.00 AM . I expected them to organism another form of transportation , but was told here's the phone number make your own arrangement . Listen it's not the $10.00 I spent on the taxi , it's the rudeness of this hotel management staff . I was appalled !!! March 2, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable Rooms, minor problems Minus the bright spotlight right in the window of my room ( I didn't even need to use lights at night), the lack of being reloaded with coffee one day and cream another, and the horrible salad and flatbread pizza thing I ordered to take to my room for dinner, this place is pretty nice, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is away from all the other mainstream hotels located a few minutes down the interstate, in an area with quite a choice of restaurants and a very nice grocery store. The site does not mention that rooms have a refrigerator unless it is a suite, but mine did...a GREAT thing. I really like having a fridge to store drinks and leftovers so this was perfect. This is a the perfect hotel for family to visit their military family loved ones as it is right down the road from a huge military community. It is also very easy to get to all the things one comes to San Diego to see. A quick drive to anywhere. I will stay here again but will be sure to ask for a room away from the spotlight and make notes to the staff when I need supplies. February 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service with a true smile The Holiday Inn Mission Valley did not disappoint. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and attentive to all our needs. Our rooms were clean and quiet, even with several sports teams staying at the facility. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my business associates coming into San Diego. February 15, 2015
