This hotel is not anything close to what I have come to expect when staying at a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express and Suites escpecially in an airport area. We stayed in a separate building from main part of the hotel. I actually think it was a suite or special guest building. We went to our room about 2 am and the outside doors to this building were not secure. It was obvious to me, this hotel has been abused and not repaired or remodeled. Again the doors were not secure. They were banged up and scratched up. The walls in the room and closets were scratched to the point paint was missing. Once we got in the room and settled down everything was ok, but it was that intital "Oh, wow" factor whe trying to get to our room. Would I recommend this hotel? Not if I had other options. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by guess service Upon arrival the front counter attendant I think her name was KT had a very pleasant smile and knowledgeable about the hotel. I ask for a handicap foom but she stated that the bed would be to short for me due to the fact that I'm 6'3 and its a full size bed. She offered me a suite and told me the price but is was out of my budget for the weekend. She offer me another room that would be just as comfortable for myself and my wife. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Aging hotel with good service The hotel staff was nice and friendly. The check in and check out was good, but the stay was less than average. My room was a suite in a separate section in the back of the main part of the hotel. The building that housed the suites felt old and neglected. I don't know what the main part was like, but the section I was in is desperately in need of a makeover. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and had an odor. The detached suites felt like I was at a different hotel. At the end of the business day I didn't feel like walking or driving to the main part of the hotel. I was on a week long business trip. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by terrible heat/air Our room was COLD when we checked in and we could not adjust the temperature. Maintenance came and set it to warm up. During the night it got very HOT and again we could not adjust the temp. Unfortunately we got very little sleep because it was either too cold or way too hot. Apparently the thermostat does not work. We were not told breakfast was not included so we had breakfast there - IHop would have been much better and cheaper. All in all it was not a good experience and will not stay there again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Think again if this is your choice for hotels. The place was filthy! There was a silver gum wrapper outside my door on the carpet for 3 days until the staff decided to vacuum. Come on, any caring reliable staff walking down the hall could have seen the silver wrapper and picked it up. There was an entire link of sausage next to the garbage can by the 2nd floor elevator that was there from the time I checked in on Monday and was still there when I checked out on the following Sunday, (7 DAYS!). The door on my 'dresser' that contains the refrigerator fell off on Tuesday at 1:30 pm due to the hinge screws being stripped, which I reported immediately in person at the front desk. The lady at the desk feigned making notification by radio (she received no acknowledgement and I doubt she sent a transmission) and assured me it would be repaired that day. Two days later I advised the manager (I assume she was) and it was finally taken care of. I heard other patrons complaining about not having their issues repaired or addressed. The cleaning crew left a large half full drink cup on my dresser when she left from cleaning the room, either that or someone got into my room without my permission. The pool looked as if it had not been cleaned in months and I know the poolside tables were never cleaned because I wiped them off with a white towel and it came out black with filth. Empty drink glasses were outside the main entrance for several days without being picked up. Pay more or pay less ... but DON'T pay here!!! Absolutely THE worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in!
