I visit many Holiday Inn's across the contry and this location is outstanding due to the location [ near the airport] and I always look forward to Houlihan's. The service in the restaurant and the bar is outstanding and just an all around fun atmosphere.

We just needed a place for a quick and easy overnight and just stayed for a quick shower and sleep. It was comfortable, clean and did the trick. The size of the room and bathroom was a little less than I was used to, but it wasn't cramped and a good value considering the area.

This is an average Holiday Inn.
There is nothing outstanding about it and there's nothing abysmal about it. While it's not terrible, I will make every effort to stay at any other IHG property in that area. the wifi is troublesome and since there aren't many dining options near this hotel, the restaurant is often over crowded.

close to airport, but took almost 1 hour for shuttle to pick me up from international terminal, this was after 3 separate calls to hotel.!!!...not happy about that.
Hotel was ok, bed was great!!.window in my room looked like a crime scene happened on it outside...pretty dirty.
Restaurant was very good., friendly staff.

We had one problem after another during our stay at this hotel. First of all, I was told over the phone that their airport shuttle started running at 4AM. We had a very early flight and 4 am would cut it close. However, during check in, I found out that the first shuttle actually left at 4:10 AM. Apparently the person I spoke to on the phone assumed that 4:10 and 4 are one in the same! 10 minutes can make the difference between making a flight and missing it!
The first room we were given showed remnants from a previous guest. We were moved to another room. It was not as nice or as large as the first one and while this was a King room for 2 guests, we had been given one hand towel and one wash cloth-guess we were expected to share? At this point, our goal was to shower and get to bed so we could get up at 3AM. This was just not to be!
We attempted to use the shower but the handle would not work. After 2 calls to the front desk and a half hour later, maintenance showed up and decided the handle would need to be replaced. We were told that would only take him 5-10 minutes.....over an hour later and 3 trips in and out of our room, the handle was replaced. By now we had given up on getting much sleep before our 3 AM wake up call.
I could not help but wonder how could this handle problem have been overlooked by the maids if they had cleaned the bathtub? Apparently, they do not clean and sanitize the bathtubs!
Trying to use the WiFi was impossible. The manager told me it was because I did not know how to sign on. This was not true because I had no problem the next morning at 3AM when most guests were probably not using the WIFI.
After a conversation with management during which I outline all the problems, I was promised that I would be given additional points in my account. Not only has this not happened, but I did not receive the correct number of points for the stay itself. Several calls, over an hour on hold with IHG Rewards Club customer service resolved that issue but I still have not been given the additional points to compensate to a small degree for all the problems we experienced. There does not seem to be anybody to whom I can talk to to resolve this.
In summary, I will never again book this hotel, will be sure to let others know of our terrible experiences, and after the difficulty dealing with IHG Rewards, will think twice about booking ANY IHG property. Will instead look for a hotel brand that values my business,
